Our 1 year came and went long ago. We got too caught up in the race to do any sort of celebrating for it. We’ll do our “1st-annual 2nd-year” anniversary when the time comes.
Wanted to take a minute though, to say thank you to some people in the industry. Some who could see themselves as competitors if they wanted to, but who have gone out of their way and loaned their time, expertise, sweat, and even money, when we were getting started, and they didn’t owe us a thing.
-Johnny and the awesome crew at Johnnys Saloon DIVE BAR & Pizza Huntington Beach who have been there for us since day 1 and who still come in and support us regularly.
-Ryan over at riipizzeria - riip beer & pizzeria who lent an ear and some advice even though we had never met before and was still willing to give up his time, and whose pizza gang still support us a ton.
- Alicia Cox who has a million things going on and is about to take over the world, but has always been more than generous with her time when we’ve needed it.
-Our brothers and sisters over Boardriders Cafe who have been growing up on this journey at the same time as us, and who have lent a hand, some equipment, and some coffee when we’ve needed it.
-last and absolutely not least…Toby and Travis Brummett over at Ola Mexican Kitchen, The Brant Kitchen and Bar, Sticks and Stones Clubhouse, MAHÉ SB, who literally have a hand in our build-out and have helped us more than we can ever thank them for to get up and running, and whose mutant crew come in and close down the bar with us at least once a week when they get off work.
