Wednesday April 8th! Day Game bike ride!

Like the flyer says, meet at the bar at 10:30AM, on the bikes by 11, should be pulling into the parking lot at around 12:30. Game starts at 1:07. We’ll head to the Santa Ana River trail on Brookhurst and Atlanta, then it’s a straight shot to the stadium. We will lock up to any of the gates surrounding the stadium.

This is not a ride sponsored by . It’s a ride that people from little misfit look forward to every year, and want to invite fellow baseball/beer-drinking/biking-riding/shirtless-tune-listening enthusiasts. That said, everyone is responsible for their own actions, health, bikes, tickets to the game, and for getting home on their own. If you aren’t in any shape to ride home, don’t. Order a ride home and worry about your bikes later.

FAQ’s:
- “Can I be a total lush and leave my bike at the stadium?…” we leave our bikes most of the time. Many a bike has been locked up at the stadium and retrieved within the next couple days. Most of the time, everything is fine. Bikes or belongings have been stolen before, though. Invest in a decent lock and don’t leave anything valuable not locked up to your bike if you’re worried about it.

- “What should I bring?…” Anything you would normally wear or bring to a game, but maybe wear something light for the ride if you’re riding a pedal bike. Things can get hot and sweaty. Swamp sweaty. Water, sunscreen, and a hat are key. Also, spare tubes aren’t an awful idea if your bike has been sitting in a junkyard under the sun. Bikes with baskets are very useful. Ice can be grabbed from the bar before leaving, and beverages can be purchased at Vons or the liquor store next to the bike path if you want anything in particular. People are willing to share though. Continued in the comments…
