We are sad to share that our Houston location is now closed.
This was not an easy decision. We put a great deal of time, effort, and heart into this location, and we are incredibly grateful for the team members and customers who supported us there. Unfortunately, ongoing safety concerns in the evenings made it clear that we could not continue operating responsibly.
Over time, we experienced multiple incidents that caused our team—especially our female staff—to feel unsafe, including attempted break-ins, homeless people smoking drugs out back, guys staring at the ladies through the windows at night as they cleaned, theft of our exterior cameras, and inappropriate behavior toward employees. In one instance, an individual attempted to follow one of our cooks into the restroom, and we were fortunate that an off-duty officer was present to intervene.
While we loved serving the regulars who stood by us and built genuine relationships along the way, the safety of our people had to come first. Closing was a painful decision, especially knowing that some of our team members were unable to continue with us.
To everyone who supported us, worked alongside us, and believed in what we were building—thank you. This chapter may be ending, but the lessons, relationships, and gratitude remain.
