Just a friendly reminder that Shaffer’s Evergreen Golf Course will be closed tomorrow until approximately 6:00 pm as we host the 10th Annual Jack Vinaske Memorial Golf Outing.

We’d like to thank Cora, family and everyone involved for choosing Shaffer’s Evergreen as the home of this special event over the past 10 years. It’s been an honor to be part of a day that brings people together to remember Jack, celebrate friendships, and enjoy the game he loved!

To the person who damaged one of our greens:

We have your vehicle description and your sign-in information. We know who you are.

I’d appreciate it if you would come and talk to me before I have to come and talk to you.

Our greens take countless hours of work to maintain, and damage like this affects everyone who comes out to play. Please respect the course.

We absolutely love seeing kids out enjoying the ponds and watching them make memories while fishing. ❤️🎣 It’s one of our favorite things about our course!

We do have one important reminder, though. Please remember that our golf carts are not available for public use. We’ve had quite a few people hopping on carts and driving around the course without permission, and for the safety of everyone—including our golfers, we have to ask that this stops.

If you’d like to fish, you’re more than welcome to enjoy the ponds, but please leave the golf carts for authorized use only.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and help in keeping the course safe and enjoyable for all. Thank you for respecting our property!

P.S. If you happen to see a couple of kids driving a golf cart, don’t worry—they’re probably Nash and Nolan, Papa’s official helpers. 😊 Everyone else, please leave the carts parked unless you’ve been given permission!
