Slice Of The Bay

The 2nd Annual “Slice of the Bay,” organized by the Packerland Sunrise Rotary Club and in partnership with the Howard Fire Department’s 1st Community Safety Day was a huge success!

Attendance was great, the pizza was hot and delicious, and the competition for Slice of the Bay was fierce! The winners after thoughtful consideration by our judges were:

Best Crust: Sam and Louie’s – Combo Pizza

Best Sauce: Sam and Louie’s – Chicken Bacon Ranch

Best Specialty: Glass Nickel – Cheeseburger Reuben

Slice of the Bay: Marco’s – Cheese and Sausage

The “People’s Choice,” selected by free will donations by attendees, was Josephine’s Pizza!

We’d like to thank everybody who came out to support our club, as well as our two gold corporate sponsors Sanimax and Kerber Rose and Associates, and our Bronze Sponsor, Denmark State Bank

As a result of the generosity of everyone involved, our event raised over $3,000 to support our two charity partners: The Howard Fire Department and MyTEAM TRIUMPH.

Sample over a dozen local pizzas. Celebrity judges. Held along with Howard Fire Department Community Safety Day. Bike Rodeo, Eagle III Fly-in, Silent auction. Kids activities. Football toss. K9 Demonstration. . Popcorn, ice cream, beer and soda.
