The 2026 Hoven Block Party and the Hoven Community, along with all the volunteers, staff, and everyone who came from all over to support the event, resulted in an absolutely amazing outcome all around 🥰. Thank you to everyone who worked hard to make it possible! The heat was intense, but we all did it! And, like true fashion, we got a little rain, which is a little tradition every year on this day and was really needed.

SHOUTOUT to the Hoven Liquor Store staff and all their hard work - without you ladies, we wouldn’t be able to do anything like this. Your dedication today, despite the heat, was wonderful and truly appreciated!

Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers at the KC Hall for helping me; I seriously couldn’t do the meal without you! Thank you to everyone who helps with little random things and big things; it means everything to me!

The meal was SOOO GOOD!! Thank you to Darin Hageman, Kyle Arbach, Alex Hunnel, Adam Hunnel, JoAnn Wipf, and Dave and Ann Hageman.

Matt, Jeremy, and Darin (Steocker Brothers) and CJ for doing an amazing job on the ribs. The rib auction couldn’t have gone any better, and of course, thank you bidders🤑!!

In all reality, without our customers and community, none of this would be worth it, but you make it happen for us - THANK YOU! Thank you to you all 😘.

We know today will be hot! We have fans and water misters all over behind the bar and by the bag tournament. I'll also have some baby pools filled with ice to step in and cool down! We hope to see our community thrive today! PS Our air conditioning is working wonderfully 🙂. I will have both indoor and outdoor bars set up. The rib auction will be at 6pm with only a limited supply of 1/2 racks. Supper will be served at 6pm inside KC Hall. You're welcome to eat in the liquor store as well.
