Congrats to Eddie Aleshire on getting his Ultra Street combo into the .30's on only the second outing with this new hot rod!!

Eddie ran a stellar 4.389 run at a stout 164.29 MPH recently at the Strange Street Car Shootout hosted at Cecil County Raceway.

Eddie's super clean 4-eye is powered by a 400ci small block Ford high port engine combo featuring a class legal 76mm Harts Turbo all of which is backed by a close ratio TH400 built by Kenny Keith of Keith Performance Transmission.

Our Pro Series 264mm billet bolt-together spragless torque converter is on board. We have Eddie set up with one of our proven CFD-modeled 5-axis CNC-machined billet steel airfoil stators in this converter. 😎

Fab work on this beautiful Fox was handled by Mike thomas fab.

Joey Hiykel has gone & done it AGAIN with a new 26 x 8.5 world record in Be**er Bomb!!!

This blistering 4.17 run at 180 MPH happened with a Maschmeier Performance Engines stock block LS engine combo under the hood featuring a pair of Comp Turbo Technology turbochargers.

Joey runs our Pro Series 264mm billet bolt-together non-lock-up spragless torque converter featuring our proprietary CFD-modeled 5-axis CNC-machined billet steel airfoil stator technology. 😎

Our converter sends power back to the tiny 26's through a non-lock-up 2-speed TH400 transmission built by Chad at The Shop Inc.

For this Wheels Up Wednesday we're featuring the drag & drive Chevy II campaigned by David Armentrout.

David recently completed Hot Rod Magazine Drag Week with a second place finish in the Ultimate Iron class while also managing to join the elite 200 MPH club, too! 🚀

David runs one of our Pro Series 264mm billet bolt-together large clutch lock-up 400 spragless torque converters in his hot rod. We have David set up with one of our proprietary CFD-modeled 5-axis CNC-machined billet steel airfoil stators per usual. 😎

Chris runs our Pro Series 252mm billet bolt-together spragless torque converter in this hot rod. We have Chris set up with one of our custom CFD-modeled 5-axis CNC-machined billet steel airfoil stators as well. 😎

Horsepower is provided by a 388 LS mill equipped with a pair of Forcedinductions.com GTR S376 turbos all of which is backed by a TH400 transmission. Race weight on this run came in at a stout 3,600-lbs.

We often get asked if we offer lock-up TH400 torque converters. The answer to that is, "Yes, absolutely!" 😎

We actually offer two different versions; a small clutch model and a large clutch model. The small clutch model offers less aggressive lock-up engagement due to reduced overall surface area offered by the smaller diameter clutch pack which can be helpful in applications that may be more traction-limited or that utilize engine combinations that produce lower average torque over a narrower range of operating RPM. The large clutch model offers maximum power handling ability with greater overall longevity of the clutch pack.

Both models are capable of withstanding 5,000+ WHP; the small clutch model will simply require more frequent maintenance intervals of the clutch pack at elevated power levels.

Our LU 400 builds will also fit LU Powerglide transmissions as well LU converter drive units. We offer LU converter fitment to the following input shaft / stator tube / pump gear combinations as offered by many popular transmission builders:

▪️30-spline 1.000-inch (Turbo spline) input shaft / GM 27 spline stator shaft / GM PG/400 pump gear

▪️35-spline 1.125-inch input shaft / GM 27 spline stator shaft / GM PG/400 pump gear

▪️27-spline 1.187-inch input shaft / Ford FMX spline stator shaft / GM PG/400 pump gear

▪️29-spline 1.250-inch input shaft / Ford C-6 spline stator shaft / Ford C-6 pump gear

Our LU 400 build are available in our Pro Series 252mm and Pro Series 264mm diameters. Both units are based on Nissan pump & turbine cores.

Each of these builds include our own unique CFD-modeled 5-axis CNC-machined billet steel stator technology as well.

Each LU 400 can be configured as a spragless build or can be equipped with a 10-strut mechanical diode depending on customer preference.

The front covers on both the small clutch & large clutch options are constructed of billet aluminum. Bolt pattern is GM 6 x 10.750-inches featuring 7/16-20 mounting threads in the pads.

Additional build features of each of these converters includes:
