In a few short weeks, Daijoubu Pop Up is leaving its hometown. Sharon left Austin a few years ago and has been living in Seattle. Caer, Sam and Kimiko are headed to California which will be home to the new Daijoubu Headquarters. There would be no Daijoubu without Austin. We want to celebrate the city that made us with one more Super Asian event. Join us for two evenings of some of our favorite cocktails, with some of our favorite people, doing our favorite thing. Daijoubu Loves You. 行ってきます.

Daijoubu Pop Up

Daijoubu means its fine in Japanese. It’s very possibly the most common phrase in the whole language. The Daijoubu Pop Up was created by Caer Maiko and Sharon Yeung because there are elements of cocktail culture that weren’t fine, and they are trying to change them.

The goal of Daijoubu is to push culinary boundaries in cocktails by incorporating wilder and more authentic asian flavors. It is to create a space for asian people in front and behind the bar. Its a kawaii expression of Asian American culture with booze.
