TONIGHT’S THE NIGHT. 🥩🔥

Steak Night rises from the dead at 7pm.

No reservations, no list, first come first served. Just like the old days.

The plate looks a little different these days. The star hasn’t changed: still 16 ounces of made-to-order ribeye. But the rest of the plate got a glow-up. Double butter and cream salt and pepper mash, rocket salad, point toasts, and a garlic & herb compound butter on top for good measure.

And here’s a first: your drink is now included. An ice-cold Texas Light or soft drink comes with every plate. $40, all in.

These plates have a history of disappearing fast, so show up early, show up hungry.

Tonight we’re eating good.

Gumbo weather finally hit. Ours just comes in glizzy form. 🍲🌭

One day only Friday: the Gumbo Boudin Dog, made just for us by our friends down in Webster, . Chicken and andouille sausage boudin, topped with Cajun potato salad, Creole mustard, and green onions. Everything you'd ladle out of the pot, no spoon required and no waiting on a roux.

The Mushroom Swiss Burger rides every Friday through October: quarter-pound patty, shiitakes, grilled onions, bacon, Swiss, and roasted garlic mayo on brioche. 🍄

Steak Night is back in all its glory.

Still 16 hot meaty ounces of made-to-order ribeye beef. And with the new price, we’re throwing in a few new additions.

On the plate you’ll find:

Smush, Witches Exist, and She's Green take over starting at 7pm. A national shoegaze tour is stopping at a hot dog stand in Houston, and it costs you nothing. That's not a typo. That's Friday.

The kitchen had BBQ on the brain again and it shows.

Friday Only: the Chipotle Pork BBQ Dog. Smoky chipotle pork sausage, topped with chipotle-spiked pimento cheese, caramelized onions, jalapeños, and Vaquero BBQ sauce. Yes, that's chipotle twice. We're extra like that.

Our new slasher mug reports for Mug Monday duty today. 🍺🩸

Same rules, spookier vessel: buy it once, bring it in on Mug Mondays for $5 fills on any pint pour, and any other day it’s just a buck over menu price to get your b**r in the big mug. Bar only, mug required, no tricks.

Meet Bob. 🌱

Bob is a burger with no beef in it and zero apologies about that. Housemade black bean, onion, and beet patty with chèvre, fresh jalapeños, cilantro, onions, and sambal mayo on a brioche bun.

New month on the schedule. New thoughts on the flat top.

October's feature, every Friday this month: the Mushroom Swiss Burger. A quarter-pound patty stacked with shiitake mushrooms, grilled onions, bacon, Swiss, and roasted garlic mayo on a toasted brioche bun. Fall food for people who don't do pumpkin spice.

This Friday only: the Jerk Chicken Dog, topped with roasted pineapple relish, mayo, and house-made mango habanero sauce. Sweet on the front end. Heat on the back.

Barbacoa, but make it a boudin.

Friday only: the Barbacoa Boudin, made just for us by our friends at The Chopping Block Webster — old-world butchers doing new-world damage. Inside the casing it's smoked beef cheeks, rice, roasted poblanos, onions, and cheddar. We top it with grilled onions, jalapeños, Cotija, red sauce, and cilantro.

If you think that sounds delicious, you're right.

Last call for the Chopped Cheese: this is the final Friday for September's sando. Sazon beef, poblanos, and onions off the flat top, cheddar and American melted in, on a buttered hoagie with the works.

Still enormous. Still selling out early.

Every Tuesday starting at 6pm, the Moontower Platter is 20% off and pitchers of Saint Arnold Fancy Lawnmower are $12. Dine-in only.

The platter, for the uninitiated: your pick of wild game dogs (2 for the small, 4 for the large), sliced and served with house chipotle pimento, pickled onions and jalapeños, Creole mustard, and Vaquero BBQ. Small feeds 1 to 3, large feeds 4 to 6, and either one feeds the crew.
