Longtime East End Hardware-ers may recognize this pic from the pandemic shutdown years, when we did a Taco Tuesday to go. It was a taco meal-for-two with four big tacos (your choice chicken $20, ribeye $28, or mixed $24), served with guac, green chile queso, salsas , lime and pico de galloooo.
WELL GUESS WHAT (and you may have anticipated this smarties), it’s back! Just for today, when the Cinco de Mayo and Taco Tuesday stars have aligned. 6:00–sellout. 🌮 🍋‍🟩
We’ll also have a Cinco de Mayo x Taco Tuesday drinks menu with some fun margaritas, Palomas, etc if you’re more into the drinking portion of the evening.

The boys, they’re back in town. Opening early (at 3:00) today for Stros season opener, steak night tonight and every Thursday from 3-6, and sweet sixteen all night. Coogs at 9:05 with sound!

Happy St. Pat’s Eve! For Monday dogs-n-drafts we’ve got a corned beef and cabbage dog with corned beef and cabbage (duh), caramelized onion and grainy mustard. And we’ll make your beer green if you want because at East End Hardware we give the people what they want 🍀 🌈

CRAWFISH STARTS TODAY! From open (2:00)-sellout, then every Saturday during the season. It’s supposed to rain later so get here early for patio times. Or just sit inside.
$9.99/lb, 2 lb minimum, Viet-Cajun style tossed in herbs and lemongrass garlic butter. Served with potatoes, corn, and butter for dippin’. Extra corn, potatoes, and sausage available to add on.

Tomorrow, y’all! We’ve got a Hardware Hoedown rodeo kickoff party, with themed live music by our friends from 7-10! Dust off the hats n boots cowboys and cowgirls— it’s officially rodeo season.

Swipe for our Winter Olympics cocktail menu, inspo’ed by the Italian alps and available through February. Olympics on most of the screens all month if you’re into people hurling themselves across ice in a variety of ways like we are. Pictured is the “Let’s Hang in the Village” — Spritz with limoncello, thyme, citrus, prosecco, and bubbly water. Lots more where that came from!

Texans kickoff at 2 today! We’re opening a bit early (1:30) for the game, and we’ve got the Stingley—everybody’s favorite bee-themed cocktail in honor of cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. It’s a riff of a bee’s knees, with gin lemon and honey. but make it gold and purple for this Louisiana-born LSU guy. Geaux Texans.
We know the rules—if any player that had a cocktail so far scores a touchdown their price is half price for the rest of the game. And really, with our guys the defense has just as good a chance of scoring as the offense so look out..

EEH was 4 months old when the Astros won their first World Series in 2017. Those who’ve been hanging out with us since then will be familiar with —where every post-season game we make a cocktail inspired by a player and put their tiny floating head on top. The menu builds every playoff game, and if any player that had a cocktail hit a home run, their drink was half price for the rest of the game.
WELL LET’S WIPE OUR COLLECTIVE TEARS THAT WE DIDN’T GET TO DO IT THIS YEAR FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, because the Texans are… pretty good?
Introducing… Tex-tails?? Let’s do it again, but make it football. In this cocktail series, for any player that gets a touchdown (or a sack), their drink drops to half price for the remainder of the game. First up is the easiest pun on the roster, the Nico Collins. It’s like the namesake Tom, with gin, lemon, and soda water; but with a grapefruit pomegranate twist.
And lucky for you guys it’s also $4 dogs-n-drafts Monday at EEH, where almost all of the drafts are $4 and we rotate a specialty hot dog every week. This week we wanted it to be super Texan so we’ve got a pimento cheese dog with bacon and candied jalapeños (swipe right for pic). Veggie and regular ballpark as always available upon request. We’ll be open with game on projector and all TVs, with sound for all the Texans postseason games. 7:15 kickoff tonight!

Annual NYE bash is tomorrow! This year we’re dressing up with live music starting at 9 with our friends , the big disco ball will be out in all her glory and we’ll have all the classic bubbly cocktails, confetti and balloons and complimentary champagne toast at midnight. Never a cover. Always a good time.

Annual sorta-fancy NYE shindig on the 31st with live music , everybody’s fave paper top hats, and complimentary bubbles at midnight.
Lucky you, steak night Thursday is on New Year’s Day this year, so we’re gonna serve it with black eyed peas and collard greensss.
