Arrivederci to Our Cherished Montrose Restaurant

It is with heavy hearts but also fond memories that we close the door for the final time at Divino Italian Restaurant. We end our 21-year run on July 31. The property at 1830 West Alabama has been sold to new investors and is up for lease.

Divino opened in 2000 as a cozy spot where customers could enjoy a curated selection of Italian wines and well-prepared Italian dishes. It quickly became a hidden gem and neighborhood favorite. The restaurant also became known for its intimate wine dinners. Several times a year, customers lined up to take advantage of the Sunday wine sales. Over the years, our long-time customers became like family.

After over two decades of memories, shuttering Divino will be bittersweet, however, it provides us an opportunity for a fresh start in a new space. Change can be a challenge, but we hope our customers will find this an exciting one.

We look forward to sharing news in the near future about our new concept in development and our new inner loop location.

If you would like to be on the mailing list for updates, please email your contact information to [email protected].

We'll update this page with information when the new restaurant opens.
