Friends- we have one last chance to . Congress is in session for only two more weeks before the election cycle, and the RESTART bill is the only piece of legislation that will provide the relief we need to keep the music alive. Independent venues are anchors for our communities, employing over 150,000 working class creatives throught the country, in addition to providing tens of thousands of artists with a way to make a living following their passion . Not only do we bring people together to celebrate art, we literally and figuratively lift up individuals with something to say onto a stage, hand them a microphone and turn up the volume...so they can be HEARD. We have a responsibility to use that power for good and for the benefit of all and I am very proud to be a part of a group of people who all feel the same sense of responsibility and a desire to be of service to those who choose to stand up and fight for what they believe in and whats right...please join us and take action - even if you sent a message already...do it again!!
