Serving seafood the "Goode way." Our concept is to grill fresh seafood over mesquite, or fry it in refined oil with a thin batter.

So, while you'll find signature dishes like campechana, seafood gumbo and whole stuffed flounder on the menu, you won't find sauces or heavy layers of breading to mask the flavor of the fish. And if something isn't in season, you won't find it on the menu. "You might want to give some serious thought to thanking your lucky stars you're in Texas."

October 7 is Jim Goode Day. And while Jim’s story started with a pit, his legacy stretches all the way to the Gulf.

For 40 years, Goode Co. Seafood has been shaped by the people and relationships behind it. From Jim Goode and the late Jimmy Evans to Jim Gossen, Kurt Evans and Levi Goode, generations of fishermen, suppliers and cooks have carried forward a shared commitment to quality, craftsmanship and doing things the right way.

What started as partnerships became friendships, and eventually, family. Those relationships can still be found in every oyster shucked, every redfish prepared and every campechana served today.

Here’s to Jim, Jimmy and 40 years on the Gulf.
