Chaine des Rotisseurs, Bailliage l’Etoile Solitaire Events – Spring 2019,

MARK YOUR CALENDAR. We are planning an exciting line-up of events coming up next year (only two months away). What follows includes l’Etoile Solitaire and Southwest Province events. Additional events will likely pop up so stay tuned.

January 11-13 Provincial Mondiale Chapitre will be held in Houston. Space will be limited to 48 members so move fast when you receive the official invitation. The agenda I still being worked and is subject to change:
Friday: Afternoon welcome reception in the host hotel featuring sparkling wine and passed hors d’oeuvres. Meet and greet old and new friends from across the Southwest region followed by a byob dine around.
Saturday: Morning on your own. Lunch dine around at the restaurants of selected celebrity chefs. Afternoon, Wine Tastings – Works in progress
Evening. Champagne reception with passed hors d’oeuvres. Silent auction to raise funds to support scholarships within the region for culinary students with financial need followed by
a five-course gala prepared by chef Jose Hernandez with paired wines. A lot of work by the regional staff is going into ensuring this will be a remarkable dining and wine experience.

Second half of February: We will have a dine around in the second half of February. Date and venue to be communicated as soon as we can.

March 1-2, 2019: Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, Southwest Province Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Southwest Province Young Chef Culinary Competition, Art Institute – Dallas.

March 11 our member chefs Kiran Verma and Jacques Fox will reprise their famous “100 Foot Journey” dinner contrasting Indian and French presentations for each course. Along with the great food the chef’s conduct a lively debate regarding the merits of two rich culinary traditions.

April 13 Celebrate International Chaine Day and with our Confreres in the Houston and Lac et du Bois bailliages with a gala event at LeBistro.

May (date yet to be confirmed) the Woods will host us at Shaggie Ranch for a true rotisseur event. Details will follow as they are confirmed.
