Grain-forward right from the start with hints of brown sugar and caramel underneath. Definitely comes across on the younger side.

PALATE
The grain takes a step back and the sweetness comes forward with caramel and vanilla. There's also a nice kick of spiceโthink extra-hot Red Hots.
๐ฅ FINISH
Medium finish with cinnamon and vanilla hanging around after the sip.

Thanks to Casey Jones for the continued support! I really appreciate the opportunity to work through and review these bottles.
This one starts off pretty youthful on the nose but develops nicely once you get into the pour. The palate is definitely where it shines for me, with more sweetness and that spicy Red Hots note adding some character.
As a straight sipper, it's fine, but probably not something I'd find myself reaching for often. Where I think this could really shine is in a cocktail. At 114.8 proof with plenty of caramel, vanilla, and cinnamon spice, I think this would make a phenomenal cocktailโand at $39.99, you wouldn't feel bad mixing with it either.
