The Money Pit Bar & Lounge The MP is a relaxed local hangout for a beer after work or a few cocktails with friends. Sunday hours are 12PM-6PM. Come out and see us!

We are open Monday through Saturday at 10AM We close No later than 1AM, Closing time varies during the week based on how busy we are. We want to offer our customers a friendly place to wind down and enjoy yourselves. We are planning live music, Wi-Fi juke box, and karaoke. We also have games and social entertainment like corn hole, pool tournaments, darts, and of course UK games!

Gary Myers Sr., age 80, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at his home of natural causes. The family has chosen cremation with a Celebration of Life Service to be held at 12:00 Noon at Gary’s Home on Saturday, June 13, 2026. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.

Gary was born in Christian County, KY, on February 13, 1946, the son of the late Bill and Ila Louise Morris Myers. Gary was a kind, giving Christian man, and was a Mason. He retired as the Owner and Operator of Gary Myers Body Shop. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Lana Baker Myers and his brother, Dennis Myers.

Survivors include his children, Gary Myers, II and his wife Lisa of Hopkinsville, Russell Guier and his wife Cynthia of Thompson Station, TN, Kim Myers of Newport, NJ; his five grandchildren, Mitch Myers, Amber Myers, Stephanie Harris, Brittanie Poppke, Leo Guier; his seven great grandchildren, Evan Myers, Gabriel Hines, Makayla Brown, Ellery Harris, Blake Harris, Jase Poppke, Lilly Poppke; and his one great great grandchild, Ace Hines.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
