Labor Day weekend has apparently claimed another victim. 🌹😂
WE WILL BE OPEN ON MONDAY, BUT as for tonight.....
We fought bravely. We poured drinks. We stared longingly toward the door. We even considered sacrificing a Pinot Grigio to the ancient gods of Sunday night commerce.
Nothing.
So go enjoy your cookouts, your long weekend, your questionable decisions involving grills and folding chairs. We’ll be here again soon, emotionally recovered and ready to pour. 🍷
To those of you who DID come see us this weekend — thank you. Seriously. You’re the reason we get to keep doing this ridiculous little thing we love.
Now somebody cue the sad orchestral music. 🥀

There are bands that come in, play their set, pack up their gear, and head home.

And then there’s Thousand Ways.

These guys leave something behind.

Tonight they absolutely poured their hearts and souls into that room. You can see it when they play. You can hear it in the music. There’s no phoning it in, no going through the motions — they play every damn song like it matters.

And tonight we also had the absolute pleasure of having Frankie Barnacz up there playing with them. Frankie, you were phenomenal. You fit right into what these guys were doing and helped make an already special night even better. Huge shout-out and thank you for sharing your talent with us tonight.

That’s what makes nights like this so damn good.

Thousand Ways is an unbelievably talented group of musicians, but even more than that, they’re the kind of band that reminds us why we fight so hard to keep live music happening at Niche.

To the guys in Thousand Ways — and to Frankie — thank you for the talent, the energy, the heart, and for giving everything you had to the people sitting in front of you tonight.

We are genuinely lucky every single time musicians like these walk through our doors.

If you missed them tonight, I really wish you hadn't.

And if you were here — you already know.

🎥 Video below. Turn the volume up.

Much love to Thousand Ways and Frankie Barnacz. 🍷🎶

One more from Ashley Robinson tonight. ❤️

But more than anything, we just want to say thank you.

Thank you to Ashley for bringing this kind of talent through our doors and sharing it with us. Every time she plays here, we’re reminded just how damn lucky we are to have musicians like her willing to make this little room of ours sound the way it does.

And a HUGE thank you to everyone who came out tonight.

Seriously. You showed up. You filled the seats. You ordered the drinks. You listened. You applauded. You supported Ashley, and you supported what we’re trying to keep building here at Niche.

We can book the musicians. We can turn the lights down. We can pour the drinks.

But without all of you showing up, none of this works.

Tonight, you showed up. ❤️

Thank you, Ashley Robinson. Thank you to everyone who walked through those doors tonight.

This is why we keep doing it.

Ashley Robinson has officially taken over Niche for the night. 🎶🍷

She’s already started, she sounds incredible, and you’ve still got plenty of time to get in here.

Ashley is playing TONIGHT — Friday, September 4th — until 11PM.

If you’re sitting at home wondering what you should be doing tonight… well, we just solved that problem for you.

Come grab a drink, find a seat, and see Ashley Robinson live.

Video below. 👇
Consider it your preview.

Now come hear the rest in person.

Ashley Robinson is back at Niche tonight from 8–11, and if you’ve been here when she plays, you already know the kind of night we’re in for.

If you haven’t, watch the video below. 👇 That’ll give you a pretty good idea.

Ashley just has a way of setting the vibe in this place. Great music, a good drink, good people, and nowhere you need to be for a few hours.

It’s Friday night. Come hang out with us.

Ashley Robinson | Tonight | 8–11 PM

See y’all at Niche. 🍷🥃🎶

I genuinely don’t know how the hell you’re supposed to capture this on a phone.

Story Charlemagne doing Van Morrison’s “Tupelo Honey.”

And the crazy part is, this video came out GREAT. Story looks great. He sounds incredible. You could watch this and think, damn, that dude can sing.

And you’d still have absolutely no idea.

Because live, it’s different.

There’s a weight to his voice in the room that a phone speaker just cannot reproduce. It’s the kind of performance where you’re halfway through making a drink, stop what you’re doing for a second and think…

This is absolutely beautiful

That’s one of my favorite things about having live music at Niche. Every once in a while somebody walks through those doors and reminds you why hearing music in a small room, ten feet away from the person making it, is still freaking magical.

Story Charlemagne is one of those people.

The video is fantastic.

Being there was something else entirely.

There are songs you hear a thousand times… and then somebody sings one in a way that makes you stop and actually listen again.

Lydia Saint George just did that with Billie Eilish’s “Ocean Eyes.”

Absolutely beautiful. Delicate without being fragile, haunting without trying too hard, and completely her own. The kind of performance where the room gets a little quieter because everybody realizes they’re watching something special.

We’re incredibly lucky to have Lydia Saint George walk through our doors and share this kind of talent with us.

Turn the volume up for this one. She deserves it. ❤️🎶

Maybe it’s the voice. Maybe it’s the room. Maybe it’s that weird little moment when summer starts dying, the nights get longer, and suddenly drinking wine while listening to hauntingly beautiful live music feels less like entertainment and more like a seasonal obligation. 🍂🍷
Tonight, we welcome September properly. Lydia Saint George — live at Niche.
Music starts at 7PM.
Come early. Grab your favorite corner. Order something that tastes like fall.
And spend a Wednesday night pretending you’re the beautifully complicated supporting character in an independent film nobody completely understood. 🥀
See you tonight.
