ALL are welcome to join us this Wednesday, March 25 at Cool Cats Lounge as we come together to celebrate the life of our brother Ron Myers. His family has joined us in Hilton Head and have requested a local gathering to meet the people that made Ronnie love Hilton Head and call it his home.

We’ve tried out best to accommodate our many friends from the hospitality community with scheduling, as such the event will begin at 3PM. From 3-6 we will be enjoying food and fellowship, a chance for everyone to share memories of Ronnie, I know MANY of us have them! At 6 PM we will have live entertainment from Anna Barnes and Nathaniel Douglas, Ronnie always loved chanteuses!

Again thank you to all who have reached out, and to the local businesses, friends, and artists who have generously donated to make this a special event in a manner that Ronnie would have wanted. Let’s lift one another up.

The Cool Cats Family would like to thank the recently formed WDNEC (We Do Not Effin’ Care Club) for holding their inaugural monthly fundraiser at our location last weekend. What a fun group!

And the thing is, they actually DO care, a lot! Here’s their mission courtesy of our beloved regular and founder Debi Dunavant West-

“At WDNEC, we embrace the beauty of aging, the joy of friendship, and the art of simply not effin’ caring about life’s nonsense. Our mission is to laugh loudly, love kindly, give generously, and sip responsibly (or not) while supporting the local spots we adore. We lift each other up, and lift a glass, every month on the last day for a good cause and a good time.”

The Club devotes a 20 minute period of each event to raising funds for a worthy local charity, and on Saturday they pulled $300 for Deep Well! The Boss was so impressed that he matched the donations, and Deb delivered a $600 check to them today.
