Sunday Funday is usually about cold beer, good laughs, and kicking back before another busy week begins. But today, I’m feeling especially grateful.
The last few weeks have been a reminder that life can change quickly, and when it does, it’s the people around us who help carry us through. Family, friends, neighbors, customers, and this amazing Locals Only community have shown us kindness, support, understanding, and love when we’ve needed it most.
Yesterday’s farewell happy hour for Jonathan and Rebecca Tompkins was a perfect example of what makes this community so special. Watching friends gather to celebrate them, seeing new faces come through the doors to support them, sharing stories, laughs, hugs, and well wishes—it was everything community should be. We will truly miss them. They have brought so much joy, fun, and friendship to the taproom over the years, but we wish them nothing but happiness and success in their next chapter.
What started as a dream of opening a small taproom has become so much more than a place to grab a beer. It’s become a gathering place filled with friendships, conversations, celebrations, laughter, and people who genuinely care about one another.
To every person who has walked through our doors, shared a pint, brought a friend, checked in on us, supported our small business, or simply been part of this community—thank you. We would not be where we are today without you.
So today, take a moment to appreciate the people in your corner. Reach out to a friend. Hug your family a little tighter. Be kind to someone who may need it. Community matters, and we’re grateful every day to be part of such a special one.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of the Locals Only family. ❤️
Happy Sunday, friends. We’re open 12-8. No food truck today, so bring your favorite snacks, have something delivered, grab a cold South Carolina craft beer, and spend some time with friends old and new.
