Mystery Brewing Company is the world's first seasonal only brewery, and our Public House reflects that in the beers on tap and food on the menu. We have core four beers that we release each season (four in spring, four in summer, etc..), as well as a handful of one-time brews we make just for fun! We guarantee there's a beer for everyone on tap. Similarly, our menu changes based on what ingredient

s we can get at the farmers markets, what's in season, and what pairs well with our beers at the time! It's always a little different, but always delicious! The Pub is open 7 days a week and beer is always flowing. Our kitchen is open Wednesday through Sunday (Sunday we have brunch!), and we serve meat and cheese plates on Monday & Tuesdays! In addition to food and drinks, we donate 10% of Monday sales to our charity of the month, we have $1-off pint nights on Tuesdays, trivia on Wednesdays, cask and small-batch releases on Thursdays, live music on Fridays and Saturdays, and Beer Church on Sundays! We always have something going on, so come visit us and stay for awhile.

Today, we're sharing sad news. After almost seven years, Mystery Brewing Company and Public House will be closing its doors at the end of day on October 31st.

Over the course of the next week, we'll be doing the best we can to celebrate everything we love about Mystery to give it a fond farewell. If you get a chance, please come visit us, say hi, and enjoy a pint, a meal, or a night of music for the last time.

Today, we’re sharing sad news. After almost seven years, Mystery Brewing Company will be closing its doors at the end of the day on October 31st.

This has been an incredibly difficult decision. We’ve always been undercapitalized, and it’s been a struggle to operate for some time now. We’ve suffered a string of pretty bad luck over the past couple of years: equipment failures, construction and permitting delays, storm-related outages and losses. The end result is that we can no longer afford to operate.

Over the course of the next week, we’ll be doing the best we can to celebrate everything we love about Mystery to give it a fond farewell, releasing some favorite old beers that we’ve had kicking around in the back of the cooler, and trying to say goodbye the best way we can. If you get a chance, please come and visit us, say hi, and enjoy a pint, a meal, or a night of music for the last time. The Wiley Fosters – our amazing house band – will be playing our last show at the pub on the evening of October 27th.

We’re enormously proud of the community that has grown up around Mystery, and we’ll miss being here every day for Hillsborough.

With one last raised glass,

Erik Lars Myers

Today’s is Dogfish Head’s Palo Santo Marron (2015). An unfiltered, unfettered, unprecedented brown ale aged in handmade wooden brewing vessels. The caramel and vanilla complexity unique to this beer comes from the exotic Paraguayan Palo Santo wood from which these tanks were crafted. Palo Santo means "holy tree," and its wood has been used in South American wine-making communities. This highly roasty and malty brown ale clocks in at 12% ABV. Pub is open from 11:30 AM - 10 PM, and The Sunday Show (free) stand up comedy starts at 8 PM!
