It feels like we wait all year for summer, and then suddenly it’s two weeks past Labor Day and the season comes to a close.

Please note that this will be the last weekend to order from our Summer Catering Menu.

On Tuesday, September 22—the first official day of fall—we will launch our Autumn Catering Menu,
as wells New Lunch, Market & Dinner Menus

WOW what an end to Summer 2026! We are taking the morning to organize the beautiful chaos of Labor Day Weekend! Bring on Local Summer. Warm days & cool nights. We have a lot of delicious fun lined up for September. Wednesday 9/9 Betty’s Local Summer Bingo. 9/18 DJ Hot Dog, vinyl only of coarse. Octoberfest on the way. And our new Fall menus. See you later today for 1/2 $ Smashburgers!

Today cuttings. From the native garden, I planted around the pond four years ago native beach grass, Mountain mint, and Joe-Pye-weed. From seed, Dahlia‘s, Celosia Limonata and Zinnia. Beautiful seeds from Johnny's Selected Seeds & Erin Benzakein - Floret. Thank you for the education & inspiration E R I N🌿The Impatient Gardener, Jim Putnam - Gardening Videos & Garden Answer. Lessons learned, label, label and label again. You don’t need to plant all the seeds in the packet. Try to make a plan even a loose plan is better than no plan.

It's simply hard to believe but we are in the homestretch of Summer,

The Back Nine. The 9th Inning. The 4th Quarter, The Final Act
Yes, Local Summer is on the way,
my favorite time of year.
Warm days & cool nights. we still have amazing local produce and the beaches are less crowded, & there's no back-up on the bridge,
ALL OF THEM!
Labor Day is late this year
it feels like a extra weekend.
