began as a passion project dreamed up by Highlands native Dale Heinlein, who opened the brewery in June 2014. Despite having forged a career in media production, Dale felt the pull to return to the mountains where he was raised, and to turn his home brewing hobby into a business. Now, surrounded by the rich Appalachian heritage we've known since before we knew anything about craft beer, we strive to create well-balanced, adventurous beer that tells the story of the wild places that surround us.
