CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOW POLICY

After seven years of business, it has come time to implement a fee of 1/2 the service if an appointment is no showed, canceled or moved, within 24 hours or less from the time of service. This fee will be added to your next service.

You will now receive an appointment reminder 48 hours, instead of the 24 hours before your appointment.
Please make sure that your phone number and email are up-to-date and that your preference of communication is correct.

I feel I have been very accommodating and flexible in the past and this was a difficult decision to make. I have tried to keep prices lower throughout the years but the current state of ever increasing price hikes and the number of last-minute cancellations and no-shows is making this all very challenging.

Beauty is said to be in the eye of the beholder. I find that beauty comes through the heart. You cannot mistake it. You can feel beauty’s genuineness through the ears in the way one listens. Through their kindness in the way one speaks. It’s apparent in the lines around the eyes when someone smiles and welcomes you. It’s when a person shares their vulnerabilities, regrets, wisdom, hopes and dreams. It’s in the way someone cheers for you despite their own circumstances. To me beauty isn’t something you see at all but more of something you feel.

❤️🎄Closed 12/24 - 12/27🎄❤️

My view this Christmas Eve morning is of our balcony decorated with white lights. It looks beautiful against the still dark sky and I am grateful to be able to leisurely enjoy them and reminisce about Christmas’s past.
I have overworked through Christmas, for most of my career as an esthetician, taking care of others and hopefully making them feel beautiful for the holidays. Routinely, making myself exhausted and eventually sick though. If I can look for a positive from COVID, it’s the realization that I need to slow down and take better care of myself.
So on this Christmas morning that looks so different than any other Christmas’s, I take it all in, the hope that comes from Jesus’s birth. The fragility of life. Family and friends that I love and love me. The abundance of gratitude I have for my clients that have supported me through this crazy rollercoaster of a year.
I wish you all peace, joy, hope, love and a safe Christmas. Thank you for your continued support and trust in me❤️

⭐️Re-opening Guidelines ⭐️

The nature of the services that are provided at robin’s nest leaves it impossible to adhere to the recommended 6 ft. of social distancing during your visit. If you have a compromised immune system and still wish to have a service, I would highly recommend scheduling the first appointment 🗓of the day. I can help you to schedule that appointment 📞

✳️Please reschedule if you have any of the following:
🌡 Fever
🤧Cough
🤒Been around anyone exhibiting those symptoms in the last 14 days
❌Living with anyone sick or quarantined
⏳Waiting on COVID-19 test results

The guidelines set in place by the Ky Board of Cosmetology to minimize the risk during your visit are as follows:

➡️I will be required to wear a face mask 😷and clients should wear a face mask 😷to the extent possible. Disposable mask will be available upon request for $2

➡️When you arrive for your appointment, please wait in your car for a text 📱or when you see me come to the door👋🏻. This will allow enough time ⏱to disinfect 🧼🧽surfaces in between clients. I will do my best to stay on time and I appreciate your patience in advance if I’m running behind😍

➡️Upon entering I will ask you a few health questions📋 and take your temperature using a No Touch thermometer(When it arrives). Anything over 99 degrees and you will be asked to leave. I beg you not to put me in the position to send you home😥.

➡️The only 🎟guest permitted that is not receiving a treatment would be if a caregiver needs to accompany client

➡️The use of waiting rooms is prohibited 🛋

➡️Hand sanitizer 🧴 will be readily available throughout the spa and it is recommended to be used on entry and exit

➡️Retail 🛍 is no longer self-serve 🤷🏼‍♀️. Just ask

➡️Beverage bars ☕️ 🍵 are no longer permitted

➡️Business cards, menus and brochures will only be available upon request

Please know I did not make these guidelines but it is my job to enforce them and I ask that you help make that job easier on me🙏🏻 so that I can actually focus I providing the best service possible

If you are the least bit apprehensive about your visit, I understand, the constant changing information is overwhelming😩. Since I am the only worker and can see only one client 🎟at a time, I do feel that provides an advantage as to the ability to offer a higher level of disinfecting in-between clients. Please know how important your safety is to me 💚and that I will do everything possible to ensure that you have a good experience 💆🏼‍♀️😁during the unique circumstances that COVID-19 🦠presents.

On May 25th, I am permitted by the KY Board of Cosmetology to re-open to clients by appointment only.

First, I want to thank you all for the tremendous and overwhelming support during quarantine. You kept my spirits high during this “ Uncertain of the future times.” I wish I could express in words how much love and gratitude that is in my heart to know how many people want me to succeed. My future at the nest is thanks to you🥰

At this time I have contacted anyone whose appointments where cancelled during the quarantine to reschedule and online booking has been opened back up with availability starting on June 24TH.
I thank you for your patience in trying to schedule appointments going forward. Also please note that turn around time in between clients is going to take a little longer for extra sanitation procedures and it is going to be a little harder to work people in. If you would like to book a standing, I would be happy to do that for you. Please contact me through email with your preferred time and day of the week at [email protected]

There will be More pertinent information to come on the changes that will occur when you visit the spa. My hope is that everyone has remained health during this time, that you had a chance to reevaluate the things that are most important to you and that as we all emerge from this we have the courage to make the changes that we would like to see in our lives.
