Friday night was one for the books! ⛳️🌅

Our Hot August Nights Couples Twilight Golf Tournament brought out an incredible turnout, and it was so much fun seeing our community come together for an evening of golf, laughs, and a whole lot of fun.

And that sunset? Gorgeous. There’s just something about being out on the course with great people as the sun goes down that makes a night like this extra special.

We’re so grateful for the incredible community of golfers who continue to make these events such a great time. Thank you to everyone who came out and made Friday night one to remember!

History was made at Hidden Valley Lake Golf Course today!

Tiffany Pickens, a member of the HVL Women’s Golf Club, made an incredible hole-in-one on our infamous Hole 15 from the women’s tee — with a drive of 251 yards!

This marks the first time in the history of Hidden Valley Lake Golf Course that a woman has made a hole-in-one on Hole 15 from the women’s tee.

In fact, only one other person — male or female — has ever made a hole-in-one on Hole 15. On November 4, 1997, Dick Scott aced the hole from the men’s white tee above.

And that’s where this already incredible story gets even more special.

Dick Scott, who passed away on April 26, 2026, after a long history of great golf here at Hidden Valley Lake, was Tiffany’s maternal grandfather.

So Tiffany’s historic hole-in-one happened on the very same hole where her grandfather made his own ace nearly 29 years ago.

What a legacy. What a moment. What a special connection between a grandfather and granddaughter.

Tiffany’s mother, Teresa Sand, the 2026 HVL Women’s Golf Club Captain, was there to witness the unforgettable moment.

We’re so excited to celebrate Tiffany and this incredible piece of HVL golf history!

Our putting green, located right behind the Pro Shop and next to Hole 1, is the perfect place to spend a little time working on your game.

Practice your putting, work on your distance control, and get a feel for the greens before heading out for your round. It’s a simple way to sharpen your short game and build confidence before you tee off.

September 6th will be a special day at Hidden Valley Lake Golf Course as we come together to celebrate the life and legacy of Mike Henley with the Mike Henley Golf Classic 2026.

It is with saddened hearts that we remember Mike — an amazing golfer, friend and family member who made a lasting impact on so many in our community. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

The theme says it all: Golf • Friendship • Stories Worth Retelling.

This Twosome Scramble Tournament is about more than 18 holes. Throughout the course, golfers will find 18 unique signs featuring photos and memories of Mike, creating a round filled with stories, laughter and moments to remember.

The day will include a ceremonial tee shot, putting contest, Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive, Straightest Drive and more, along with commemorative Mike Henley Golf Classic keepsakes.

That’s exactly what Hot August Nights is bringing to Hidden Valley Lake this Friday, August 28th.

Grab your favorite golf partner, get a group together, or sign up and we’ll do our best to pair you with another fun couple. Nine holes. Four-person step-aside scramble. 5pm shotgun start. And an evening built around enjoying the game and the people you’re sharing it with.

After golf, head over to The Greenview Bar & Grill for dinner and drinks and keep the night going.

A Friday night on the course sounds pretty good to us. Hot August Nights is happening this Friday, August 28th!
