Beth and I finished off the weekend by bartending a wedding in Boone- at the Overlook barn…. A venue we’ve been to many times! We supplied our barrel bar for the cocktail hour…. Then moved inside for the reception. It was a wonderful evening- we made some new friends- and everyone had a great time. Thanks Natalie for the call!!!

While Beth and I were working in Hickory… Greg and Cynthia helped us with a new client in Pineville— which happens to be right down the street from them!!!! It was a bday party for our client’s husband- and Greg bartended and Cynthia helped with the food, making sure all stayed stocked and neat ….. such a wonderful pair to have on our team!!! They did a great job- thanks guys for always giving your all at our events- and thank you Barb for the call!!!

Beth and I bartended a wedding right here in Hickory at Moretz Mills- our first time at this venue—- it was certainly beautiful!!! Beth and I served b**r, w**e and seltzers and 2 signature drinks- Jack and Coke and a margaritas!! There were roughly 140 people there so we were super busy— but no problem!!! I also helped clear the tables when I could…. Everything was super and we had a great time!!! Thank you Amanda and Santi!!! And congrats!!

While the 4 of us worked the wedding in Mooresville, Michael, Cynthia and Valerie helped a new client of ours with her daughters wedding at a church in Granite Falls. They took plated meals to the guests outside, cleared the tables, served drinks to guests, and helped with anything else needed….even helped serve the cake!!! We received wonderful reviews from the host regarding our team…. Which is always a fantastic way to hear about an event we couldn’t be at!!!! Great job guys- thank you… and thank you Harmony for the call!!!

Beth and I catered and bartended a wedding last night in Morganton at a private residence for some new clients…. It was a beautiful day…. We started out early in the AM cooking at our kitchen- then made the trip to their home to set everything up- Beth Aiden and Sheryl worked hard in the kitchen and I set
Up the bar and got the buffet station ready…. So when everyone arrived from the ceremony (at a different location) all was ready to go. Beth prepared a small charcuterie board with charcuterie cups… grilled cheese and tomato soup shooters and her stuffed mushrooms- dinner was our Herb crusted chicken, green beans a potato bar with all the fixins and Caesar salad with my homemade dressing!!!! It all went perfect- and everyone had a blast!! Thank you for your help Aiden and Sheryl- and congrats Samantha and James!!!

So the wedding was a huge success!!! Beth and I picked up food for the dinner…. Brought it to the double J… kept everyt...

So the wedding was a huge success!!! Beth and I picked up food for the dinner…. Brought it to the double J… kept everything warm— we passed appetizers during cocktail hour… set up the buffet- served dinner…. Cleared tables- Beth did all the dishes again!!!! And we set up the dessert table and packed up all leftover food— it was a wonderful evening and we had a great time- thank you Sheryl and Dominick for your help— you did great!!!! Lisa- thank you for trusting us with 2 big days!!! And congrats to Lindsay and Wyatt!!!

Last night Beth Megan and I helped our new clients with the rehearsal dinner for their daughter at the Double J Farm in Lenoire- we picked up the food… set it out in the chafing dishes, served the food, packed all leftovers away and set out dessert, and cleared tables… and Beth cleaned all the dishes and silverware!! It was a very laid back event- everyone was super nice- and Beth and I are looking forward to working the wedding today…. Doing all exactly the same tasks, this time with Sheryl and Dominick!!!

I helped a new client tonight with a “rehearsal dinner” for her son at her home in Greensboro… which was basically a small, tight knit group of friends and family enjoying each others company- I set up the buffet, kept the food warm, cleared all the plates, washed them…. Put out dessert and kept everything clean and tidy- emptying garbages and doing the dishes…. And wrapping up all left over food. It was a great evening and I made some new friends- thanks so much for the call Irene…. And enjoy the wedding tomorrow!!!

So to finish off the weekend- I worked yet again last night in Midland at the Farm in Willow Creek- now we are very knowledgeable about this venue as we are here regularly….. this event I pretty much did a little of everything - set up the buffet, heated the food, put out all the food, cleared tables, emptied garbages, and cleaned all platters and serving utensils! We also supplied the chafing dishes, sign boards, serving utensils, salad and bread bowls and ice. I was so busy it’s a miracle I got as many pics as I did!!!! This was a wonderful event and everything went as it should- it was a great way to finish off the weekend!!! Thanks so much Audra for the call—— looking forward to working with you again in April!!!!
