Good evening John's Tavern Family.
A quick History lesson for ya...
It was the Industrial Revolution that spawned hope, prosperity and financial security to many of whom we now call,
The Blue Collar Workers.
Along with that hope came hazardous working conditions that often resulted in death.
It came with long hours of hard work and long work weeks causing exhaustion of the young, healthy man and that resulted in the birth of Child Labor.
In 1894 laborers were finally recognized as being important key contributors to the creation of our Middle Class society and the growth of our country. The success of our infrastructure then and today is the result of hard work by men and women.
Therefore Labor Day is a celebrated Federal Holiday, honoring those who made it possible, The 40 hr week, with overtime. Vacation days, sick days and fair wages.
With that said,
John's Tavern is celebrating YOU..

Tomorrow we will serve up some good sloppy Hotdogs.

I'm a couple days late posting Sundays Charity Stop for sweet baby Delora. What a great turnout for these guys!
We're proud of being considered and included. It shows what happens when strangers and friends alike come together to show we each have a commonality ,,,We have a heart and compassion.
We all come together as one and that's greatest thing ever!
