NEVER FORGET

Twenty-five years ago, America changed forever.
For many of us in the Veterans of Foreign Wars, September 11 was more than a moment in history. It became a call to serve.
In the days and years that followed, Americans answered that call. Some ran toward danger. Some raised their right hand and put on our nation’s uniform. Some deployed far from home. Others served their communities and supported the families who carried the burden of war.
For an entire generation of veterans, the events of September 11 helped define our service.
Today, VFW Post 2924 – Joshua Palms remembers the innocent lives taken that morning. We honor the firefighters, law enforcement officers, first responders and ordinary Americans who showed extraordinary courage. We remember the service members who answered our nation’s call—and we honor those who never made it home.
Twenty-five years later, our promise remains:
Remember the fallen.
Honor those who served.
Stand beside those who still carry the burden.
Never Forget.
