Operating since August 2017. Nestled in on the Missouri riverfront in our restored and renovated 1867 building, we follow our passion to produce hand-made, Missouri craft spirits. If you’ve tried our Jacobsen Salt Co. salts, you might want to make room for something a little sweeter. 😉

We’ve got Salty Classic and Salty Hazelnut Caramels in the gift shop, and they make a pretty hard-to-resist little treat. They’re also an easy addition to a gift basket or a fun little something to take home for yourself.

Because sometimes you just need a little caramel with your wh***ey. 🥃

A little Fernweh for your home.

Our candles are handmade right here in Missouri using natural soy wax, phthalate free fragrance, and an eco wick. But one of our favorite parts? They’re poured into bottles that were previously used in house.

Instead of letting those bottles go to waste, they get a second life as something you can enjoy at home.

They make a pretty great gift, too! Stop by the gift shop and grab one for yourself or someone who could use a little extra cozy. ✨

What’s cookin’?

No, we’re not making breakfast. The mash cooker is fired up, and today’s menu is wh***ey!

Cooking the mash is one of the first steps in the wh***ey-making process. Our grains and water are heated together to help break down the starches and prepare them to be converted into the sugars needed for fermentation.

So while it might look like a big pot of grain right now, there’s a lot happening in there. A little heat, a lot of grain, and eventually… wh***ey. 🥃

Well, would you look at that… Fernweh is turning 9! 🥃

Nine years of wh***ey, barrels, tasting room conversations, new faces, familiar faces, and a whole lot of memories.

Looking back at where we started, where we’ve been, and where we are today, it’s pretty wild to see how much Fernweh has grown and changed over the years.

But one thing hasn’t changed: we’re still pretty darn excited to make good wh***ey and share it with all of you.

Thanks for 9 great years! Come celebrate with us, raise a glass, and help us kick off year 10.

It’s 5 o’clock somewhere… and it’s Friday. 😉

Sounds like a pretty good time for a little Stardust Vodka.

Pour it over ice, mix it with your favorite mixer, or shake up a cocktail at home. However you’re kicking off the weekend, we hope Stardust makes an appearance.

We had such a great time in Kansas City last time, we couldn’t stay away!

We’re excited to be heading back to The City Market - Kansas City for Spirits of Discovery, alongside some pretty great Missouri craft distillers. It’s a chance to sip, sample, shop, and get to know the people behind the spirits.

If you’re in KC, this Saturday from 8AM-3PM, come find us and say hello! We’d love to see some familiar faces and meet some new ones. 🥃
