When we collect oil, we do it in style and with cla
ss. No messy oil spills or gross looking barrels here. We'll provide you with a freshly reconditioned and modified 5 or 55 gallon collection barrel to place at your home or restaurant site to deposit your oil into. For restaurant-sized oil collection (55 gal barrels): We'll stop by on a regular, consistent basis to empty your full barrel and tidy up the area if necessary. Because of our properly equipped collection truck, we have the ability to get in, pick up your oil, and get out quickly, all without leaving a mess! So not only do you get to contribute to an environmentally conscious service, but you’ll get the added benefit of a personal touch with professional style. For home kitchen-sized oil collection (5 gal barrels): We will check in with you once a month to see you your oil needs to be picked up (we don’t want to bother you too often!) If your barrel is full and ready for pickup before we contact you, please call either number listed above: we strive for same-day pickup service! Or, if you would like to set up a recurring pick-up time each week/month, we will be happy to work with you! When we stop by, we will simply pick up your old barrel and swap it for a clean one: no pouring, dripping, or messes! Our Service Is Free

In the world of oil collection services, we believe we offer a better alternative. Instead of your oil being sold on the open commodities market, sprayed on food to fatten up pigs or other livestock (which we think is gross), or even worse, sprayed on an open dirt road (which is just plain nasty), we do something better with it! The oil we collect is used to create an energy substitute for petroleum diesel fuel called Biodiesel. When used in a diesel engine, Biodiesel greatly reduces the emissions emitted into the atmosphere. This helps to reduce the overall pollution in the air. We think of it as our way to give back to the environment. Additionally, this helps reduce America's dependence on foreign oil - every gallon of used oil we collect is a gallon of foreign oil the US does not have to import! Studies show that when used, Biodiesel can reduce particulate matter (you know, that nasty black smoke) emitted by diesel engines by as much as 80-90%. Carbon Dioxide is also greatly reduced by as much as 80%. Hydrocarbons are also drastically reduced when Biodiesel is used in place of petroleum diesel. It also has the added benefit of cleaning up the smell of the exhaust. Instead of the noxious smelling diesel fumes, the tailpipe of a vehicle burning Biodiesel smells more like a bar-b-que grill or french fries. We not only use your oil to make Biodiesel, but we go above and beyond by recycling our bi-product in an environmentally conscious manner. All of the by-product glycerin we generate by producing Biodiesel from your waste oil is recycled back into the Biodiesel-making process, and any remainder is used to make home-made soap and/or compost fertilizer for our family garden. If you'd be interested in signing up for our oil collection service, simply call either number, find us on Facebook, or send us an email at the above email address with information on how & when to contact you. Once we receive your request, our collector will contact you and arrange a time to come out and sample your oil. We'll take a small sample back to our facility and test it to make sure we can make Biodiesel out of it. After it's tested, we'll contact you to let you know the results. If it passes our tests, we'll set up a regular collection schedule with you and arrange to bring a barrel by and get you on your way to helping to make a difference in your community! (Chances are, if it’s liquid at room temp, and is used vegetable oil of some sort, it will work just fine!)
