One of the many many many MANY cool things about the Asheville area is seeing the ties to Pinellas - it seems like everyone who escapes Florida comes here! We should probably start a support group.

Good morning all - it's been a while, huh?

After the deal in downtown Clearwater fell through (politics and religion), we took a step back to assess our situation. Shortly after, a hurricane cut power to most of the area for over a week. Then, Covid. Needless to say, that assessment saved our brewing butts!

However, 611 is not dead and we're still brewing - but in quite different locations! Matt moved a bit north and I'm hoping that we can all convince him to open either 611 or HCB there and get that BlueJay Kolsch flowing! I (Ray) relocated even farther north, to the Asheville, NC area about 3 years ago and I've perfected many of the 611 recipes and added even more.

611 is now in the 'Brewery in Planning' stage again, but this time in Hendersonville, NC. There is already interest from beer lovers like you and the excitement from locals is building!

It was the people of Dunedin, Clearwater, and all of Pinellas County that gave us the confidence to move forward way back then and our appreciation to you continues!

It's been QUITE a while since we've posted here... not because we're sitting around on our hands.

Unfortunately, our dreams of being the first brewery in downtown Clearwater fell through... No negativity so I'll just say that there are factors in play there, whether religious, political, or financial that make it almost impossible without a giant bag of money (pennies don't count!)...

So with that being said, we're looking at heading home to Dunedin. Currently eyeing a couple of locations.

To the lady who recognized me in Woodwright brewery a few weeks back - thanks, I appreciate that!

Still appreciate all the great feedback that we've received from our tastings in the past, and everyone who comes over for 'Quality Assurance' :) Your opinions mean everything to us!

I've had quite a few people asking me about 611... We weathered the storm... Between the landlord, the city, and the investor, things are taking MUCH longer than anticipated! Anyone who has started a brewery or any other business can understand I'm sure. Funny that making amazing beer is easy, compared to the business and waiting!

We're planning a tasting at The Lucky Anchor soon, so stay tuned!

Two more steps towards opening! And 3 more meetings next week... No one ever said that it would be a quick process!

On the beer side, today we kegged a Razzberry Porter and brewed our famous Irish Red!

It's been a little while since we've posted, but don't fret.. 611 Brewery is still in the process of opening! A few more steps have been completed towards our goal, and more news will hopefully be spamming your news feed in the very near future!

Many of you have tried our 12 'staple beers'.. and now there are two more... a 7.8% Rye Saison that is crazy good, and a very refreshing 5.4% Cream Ale that will make you keep wanting more! This week we're testing a new porter (it's a secret! ), tapping the "Almost" Session IPA, kegging the Brown Ale, and brewing the Pale to the Celts Pale Ale... needless to say, the beer part of our brewery is on track!

We appreciate everyone's questions and comments,and we're really looking forward to opening and becoming an anchor in downtown Clearwater!

Another great Blast Friday event has come and went. And another great big thank you from Matt, Gerry, and Ray to everyone who came out to support us (and drink free beer!)

We went through about 22.5 gallons of Almost Session IPA, Vanilla Porter, Heffeweizen, Brown Ale, and Blonde Ale - about 680 pours! You gave great feedback and compliments - overall, a pretty amazing event!

We'll be at the Clearwater Beer Fest on May 20th, and the last Blast Friday of the year on May 26th - come out and join us for fun!!
