We are going to postpone out little party for Sean Patrick Smith and Pat. Many folks can't get out yet and so we want to keep everyone safe! So we will plan on meeting NEX SUNDAY Feb 8th at 2PM! Note the time change due to the SUPER BOWL!
Please plan to drop by and have a toast with us! We want to send Sean and Pat off with all that Wine Sage Merchant + Wine Bar love!

They will be closer to family there, and Sean just got the job as assistant manager at their Dunwoody location.
So in true Wine Sage fashion, we must gather up and give them a fond farewell toast and lots of love!

IYKYK…
If you’ve lived in Hendersonville long enough, you will remember Purple Sage, which was the business in the same location where we have been the last nine years. While cleaning out the back storage closet, I found this with a price sticker from Purple Sage! 😂
Most people don’t know that the word “Sage” in Wine Sage is not the herb, but meaning wisdom or wise person.
I wanted to keep the word Sage because this business has been Purple Sage and Sage Gourmet, but meaning the spice or herb sage. I wanted it to mean a wine sage - someone who knows about wine. What’s funny is now that we have closed I’ve had several people have the lightbulb go on about what Wine Sage meant.🤣🤦‍♀️
I was never truly THE Wine Sage here but my love of wine and how it brings community together made me feel like the richest person I know. ❤️🥂

Today is the day!! We probably wont try to open tomorrow just to keep everyone home and safe.

Our Big MOVING OUT SALE! This weekend! Friday 1/23 and Saturday 1/24! We will be open at 11AM. If you are in town this Tuesday or Wednesday and want to get a sneak peek and buy early, check and see if I am there! The main sale will happen this Friday and Saturday! Everything needs to be gone!

There will be so many more photos to share but I wanted to say “Happy New Year” and a huge thanks to everyone who came out last night for our Final Toast! There were so many familiar faces and I felt so loved by this amazing community. To say I will miss Wine Sage and the special place it has been is a huge understatement.
And a very special thanks to Sean and Cathy for being there and for all the support and hard work they have given over the years!
