Thank you, Semisonic, for writing the quintessential end-of-the-day song for our industry. And with that, the time has come for us to put up the barstools and gently turn out the lights on 10 years of Blossom & Cellar Door and Trattoria La Caverna. Saturday, November 22 will be our last night of service. We hope that you’ll come and make one more memory this week in our precious old skating rink with your longtime noodslingers.
750 W. Main St. is magic. It’s been a super magnet for beautiful souls. It’s served as the backdrop for countless great stories, and so much joy and laughter that it echoes still. It’s provided a safe haven from the stormy seas of life for so many, including us. It’s celebrated retirements, birthdays, anniversaries, community, and regular Tuesdays, has comforted the grieving, and warmly embraced all that have passed through its doors. It’s family. It’s our heart and our home. So between Tuesday and Saturday of this week, please come collect one last hug, leave a little extra love and light to help us make our way through the dark transitional time to come, and wish us well on our way to wherever life’s roads take us.
We hope to find you well met in the future, fellow travelers, wherever the winds of fate may carry us.
