Atchafalaya Basin Festival Saturday, November 14, 2026 The festival celebrates the unique Cajun heritage and the sportsman’s paradise of the Atchafalaya Basin.

Atchafalaya Basin Festival began its annual celebration in 2007 as a major fund raising project for Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson. The festival features live local Cajun entertainers, pageant, cooking contest, car and truck show, raffle, bingo, live and silent auctions, parade, food, arts and crafts, motorcycle poker run, and kid games. The one day festival is held the 2nd Saturday in November each year and is FREE !
