Bayshore Bar & Grill at Holiday Inn Hazlet

Hello to all our old friends from the Bayshore Bar & Grill! Bill and Linda here...we want you all to know that since leaving The Grill, we landed in Belmar and bought this beautiful old Inn in July. Built in 1880, 2 blocks from Belmar beach and boardwalk....we moved here right after July 4th and had a rocking summer! Verrrrry different from the restaurant/bar/catering business, but we already love the place and are happy to call it home. Now that summer's over we've begun renovating, and will spend the winter with paint, spackle, or grout on some part of our bodies...but it's all good, every bit, and we wanted to share our good news with all of you. Our website is under revision right now (www.theinnattheshore.com), but you can check in on our progress on the fb page, and see current pics, reviews, and other info on travel sites like Yelp, TripAdvisor, Expedia, Booking.com, BedandBreakfast.com, B&BFinder.com, and others. Well friends, we've dreaded this moment. Saying "thank you" is not enough today, to the friends old and new that we've made here from our staff, our bands, and of course, our guests... and to all of you we haven't met who found something good here at The Grill, and helped us make our living. So many great memories, so many crazy stories, so many wild nights...so much fun we all had here. Tomorrow starts a new chapter, but tonight we hope you'll sing along with us, and Carol, as we turn out the lights and say,
from our hearts, "So Long."

A huge THANK YOU to our friends Mike, Mark, and Maria - aka The Melore/Wintjen Band - for tearing it up with a great crowd tonight. You were the first live band who played at The Grill after we took it over 5 years ago, and it is truly fitting that you are the last band to play before we move on. A great poet once said, "the future's uncertain and the end is always near." Our thanks to you, and to everyone who came out tonight, for helping us to "let it roll, baby, roll!"

LIVE!! Local legends THE MELORE/WINTJEN BAND return to The Grill for our last live music event! The Neely family is saying goodbye to the Holiday Inn Hazlet, and the Bayshore Bar & Grill will begin operating under new management on Tuesday, July 1. We've had a great run full of great times here in Hazlet, and we'd like to express our heartfelt thanks to all the friends who have supported our family business through the years.
