In April 2011 we changed our name to The Mexican Restaurant & Bar and continue the tradition of offering high quality food, affordable prices and a friendly atmosphere. At The Mexican Restaurant we have expanded our operations as a full restaurant, bar and event center. And while our Tacos remain our top seller, our signature dishes such as fajitas, steak casero, alambre and shrimp platter, have become customer favorites. The Mexican Restaurant & Bar is an 8,000 square feet facility with a main dining room seating 100, and our bar area seating 80. Our banquet room has capacity for 150 and our ample parking lot accommodates 96 vehicles. We are conveniently located one block north of the A street and Hesperian Blvd intersection, directly across Target and Kennedy Park. For any upcoming party or special events, The Mexican offers a Banquet Facility with full catering and entertainment. Our parent company Acapulco Taqueria Inc. has established itself as a local, high quality, authentic Mexican food provider. We are the only Mexican restaurant that serves Certified Angus Beef in the Bay Area. Visit our other locations on A and soon on B Street in Hayward. Metro Taquero on A Street is known as the spot for Tacos and Burritos since 1993.
