CHEF SPOTLIGHT: THE HEART & SOUL OF BREAKS 🧑‍🍳💙

If you’ve ever had an incredible meal at BREAKS, you have this man to thank.
We want to give a massive, well-deserved shoutout to our General Manager, Chef Andrew! This absolute rockstar has clocked over 63 hours in the kitchen just this week alone to make sure everything running out of our kitchen is perfect.

Andrew was one of our very first original employees and personally developed much of the menu you know and love today. He has spent countless, grueling hours on the line, and to say he’s dedicated is an understatement—the man truly bleeds blue ink for this company.

At over 6’9”, my pops likes to say, "He oversees the kitchen." 😂 And it’s true!
BREAKS simply wouldn’t be BREAKS without Chef Andrew. He is the backbone of our crew, and we are incredibly lucky to have him.

Please show him some Hays love.

Congratulations to all the graduates of 2026! What a busy week and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the growth we have had in the last year.

We appreciate the business and we are ready to show you all our food perfection.

Haven’t been able to post much this last week so here is a picture of a delicious quesadilla! We can make you just about anything here.

Today is roughly one year with BREAKS Eatery & Bar for me. We still have a busy night of reservations but during our buffet we served 453 guests. Cooked 115lbs of bacon. 11 Prime Ribs and 7 Smoked Hams, and a few hundred pounds of French toast, waffles, potatoes and biscuits and Gravy.

The team busted their butt today and everything ran perfectly. We have had our growing pains but I believe we have definitely shown the community that we are listening and we are constantly trying to improve.

I am very proud of my staff. My chefs made some out of this world meat that we received numerous compliments on. Many thanks to my staff for making this possible.

As for the stars of the show today. All of you moms out there. I was honored to provide you with an excellent “treat” with the prime rib as I heard from many of you.

Keep the world turning moms! You rock, and HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!
