Please join us on Sunday, September 20th as we remember our dear friend Jeff Hinte, and celebrate the 1st Annual Jeff Hinte Memorial Pub Walk, with proceeds to benefit Jeff’s favorite charity.

On Sunday, September 20th we’ll meet at 12:00-noon, at Coakley’s Pub, and start our pub walk. (Amy will bring Jeff’s cherished Lotus Seven by and offer passenger rides around town in Jeff’s honor…. Weather permitting, of course.)

From Coakley’s Pub our walk will take us across the street to Tidewater Grille, then up the street to Kooper’s Tavern, and finally to The Vandiver Inn. (Parking can be at the municipal lot adjacent to Tidewater.)

At each stop, there will be discounted drinks; we’ll be able to share time together, and share our favorite Jeff stories.

Our Pub Walk with conclude at The Vandiver Inn, where short rib sliders, and other “Jeff bites” will be offered, along with a cash bar. There will be pictures of Jeff on display, and we’ll toast to his good nature and celebrate the way he touched us all. (We know he’ll be with us each step of the way in spirit.)

The 1st Annual Jeff Hinte Memorial Pub Walk donation is $50 per person with proceeds presented to the Concord Point Lighthouse, in Jeff’s name, (his favorite charity).

This event is limited in attendance so please RSVP to Joe Lertch at [email protected] for further information, and to make your reservation and secure your place in The 1st Annual Jeff Hinte Memorial Pub Walk.

(Our donation will be presented to The Concord Point Lighthouse on Wednesday, September 23rd… the 1 year anniversary of Jeff’s passing.)

Please note that we will be closed during Labor Day week so that our staff can get their families settled back in school. Our schedule for Labor Day week will be as follows:

Monday, Sep 7th: Closed as usual (and for Labor Day)
Tuesday, Sep 8th: Closed as usual
Wednesday, Sep 9th: Closed
Thursday, Sep 10th: Closed
Friday, Sep 11th: We will open at 5:00 pm

You can make reservations for Friday, Sep 11th from 5:00 pm and beyond by calling and leaving your reservation requests on our answering machine at 443-502-2551, and we will get back to you when we retrieve messages on Friday, Sep 11th.

Save the date — and help us raise a glass to a very special friend.

On Sunday, September 20, we’ll come together for the 1st Annual Jeff Hinte Memorial Pub Walk — an afternoon of friendship, memories, laughter, and a few stops along the way in celebration of Jeff.

More importantly, we’ll be doing it for a cause that meant a great deal to him. Proceeds from the event will benefit Jeff’s favorite charity, the Concord Point Lighthouse.

We’re putting the finishing touches on the route, participating locations, and all the details that will make this a memorable afternoon.

Announcing our next “REGIONAL” Wine Education classes: Italy #3

Italy #3 will be held next Wednesday, August 19th, and next Thursday, August 20th, with both classes starting at 6:30 pm in the lounge.

Italy #3 will cover the many different grapes and many different wines of Italy’s most famous region:

-Tuscany

“Italy #3” will run approximately 2 hours, and the class size is limited to 20 people each night. The cost is $25, which will include all wine.

Note that 20 seats are available.
Please don’t sign up unless you can make the class.
