The Red Dragon will be closed Sunday Morning Sept. 6, from 8:00am to 12 noon. I will be cleaning the tables and equipment. The tables will be damp and should be dry by noon for play.

We had an awesome day of classes Saturday at the Deer Club in Gardner. The morning session was a stroke clinic focusing on fundamentals. The afternoon session was an intro to banks and kicks.
A big shout out to Judy and Hung for opening up the club to us and for being such great hosts. Thank you also to PBIA accredited Rodney Paradis for assisting with the classes.
Finally, the day could not have been such a success without the enthusiastic efforts of a terrific group of students. Everyone worked hard and worked together to make it a fun and fruitful day.
The class was maxed out at 16 players early and we could not reach the lengthy waiting list. We will be setting more classes in the coming weeks and months. Follow the Red Dragon Billiards for upcoming classes and events.

The August 29th class is full and signups are closed. We are running a waiting list for everyone who remains interested. If enough people sign up on the waiting list, we will schedule a second date.

Congratulations to Sofia Mast - Pink Dagger and to Siyu Chen for being selected to receive $1,000 college scholarships granted by the Jayden Liu Memorial fund. Sofia and Siyu were selected as this years outstanding Student Athletes at the Billiard Education/USA Cue Sports US National Championships.

Got to spend some time with great fellow Pool Instructors, colleagues, and friends last week at the 2026 International Certified Instructor summit. Mosconi Cup coach Johan Ruysink,, Dr. Dave, Bob Jewett, European team coach Mitja Gradisnik, Ronnie O'Sullivan's snooker coach Nic Barrow, Jerry Briesath, Randy G., Steve Sherman, Kim Young, and many more top world class instructors gathered for this summit to exchange ideas, techniques, and teaching styles.
