Congratulations to Becky Robinson for winning the MVP award in our Wednesday Women's 8-ball division. Teams from the Red Dragon Billiards Club and Training Center and The Maynard Elks lodge compete every week for a trip to Vegas to compete in the USAPL National 8-ball championships. They have quite a bit of fun along the way as well. If you are interested in joining the USA Pool League, contact us. The New England USA Pool League, the league that puts the player and the sport first.

Ten (10) players won their single boards this week in 8-ball and 10-ball, securing their entry into our "Go to Vegas" single tournaments in the fall. Like our team formats, we skip regionals and other "disqualification" tournaments. Players earn a spot and then play for the trip and entry to Vegas to play in the Singles events in the USA Pool League National Championships.
If you are not yet playing in the New England USA Pool League, why not? Play in the league that puts the player and the sport first.

We had a blast at the 4th stop of the New England Junior American Championship Series (JACS) and the Connecticut State junior Championships yesterday. A big shout out to Tim Morris and the Slovak Catholic Club, in Torrington Ct., for hosting the event.
In the 18u division, 13-year-old Stephen Bao, from Harvard Ma. took home first place and the title. Stephen won an exciting hill/hill final match against 16-year-old Logan Tedford of Westbrook Connecticut. Congratulations to Sebastian Chumpitaz for his strong 3rd place finish.
Congratulations to Miles Riordan for winning another 10u championship. At 9 years old, Miles is showing quite a bit of promise. Coming in a strong second was Carter Jackson-St.Jean. Carter is 7 years old with a happy excitement and love for pool, as well as a natural and awesome bank shot. Rutva Malhar took home honors for Girls 18u.
All winners are awarded free entry into the 2026 Junior National Championships taking place in Dubuque Iowa in July.
Stephen, Miles, and Rutva are all students at the Red Dragon Billiards Club and Training Center in Harvard Ma.

Congratulations!!

Congratulations to team "Stick Sisters" for winning the Spring division championships for our Wednesday Women's 8-ball division. Stick Sisters is looking to repeat its league championship win and trip to Las Vegas to compete in the USAPL National Women's 8-ball championships.
This is an awesome division that plays at the Red Dragon Billiards Club and Training Center and the Maynard Elks. If you are interested in joining a great group of women, let us know. There is room for more teams and players.

The Red Dragon will be closed this weekend, May 2-3, for a Pool School "Boot Camp" weekend. We have a dozen students from several different states spending Saturday and Sunday with us in an intensive pool experience. This includes five (5) PBIA instructor accreditation candidates.

CALLING ALL JUNIOR POOL PLAYERS: The New Hampshire Junior State Championships will take place on April 25, 2026 at Capitol City Billiards in Concord NH.
Win a free entry into the American BEF Junior National Championships taking place July 5-12 in Dubuque Iowa. This is the only national junior tournament sanctioned by the WPA and the winners will be selected for the American team representing the United States in the World Junior Championships in November.

The dates and location for the 2026 American Junior BEF Championships have been announced. The very best junior pool players compete for a spot to represent the United States on the American team at the World Championships scheduled for Nov. This is the only Junior National event sanctioned by the World Pool-Billiard Association (WPA) and overseen by the Billiard Congress of America (BCA), the governing body of pool in North America.

BEF Junior Nationals is coming to Dubuque, Iowa! Mark your calendar, and check out the BEF calendar for National Qualifier Tournaments.
