THE ELITE SERIES: 9-BALL PRO, 10-BALL PRO, & LAGGER’S CHOICE 🏆🔥
Ready to take the "luck" out of the equation? We are highlighting three formats designed for the tactical player who wants to leave no doubt about who the better shooter is.
Here is your guide to the most strategic games in the NAPA playbook:
1. 9-BALL PRO: The "No-Cheese" Rotation 💎
In 9-Ball Pro, we eliminate early "lucky" wins to focus on the pure run-out.
Earn the Win: The 9-ball must be the last ball to drop to win the rack. You cannot win early with a combination or carom.
Alternating Breaks: In this Pro format, breaks alternate every game to ensure a level playing field.
The "Option" Rule: If the 9-ball falls into the wrong pocket, your opponent can play it as it lies or hand it back. The 9-ball is spotted immediately before the next player shoots.
2. 10-BALL PRO: The Ultimate Test 🎯
10-Ball Pro combines strict "Call-Pocket" rules with professional rotation strategy.
No Short Cuts: Like 9-Ball Pro, the 10-ball must be the final ball pocketed to win.
The "Play Option": If you pocket any ball in the wrong pocket, your opponent can force you to shoot again. If the 10-ball fell in incorrectly, it is spotted immediately.
3. LAGGER’S CHOICE: Set the Tone 🎭
In Lagger’s Choice, the winner of the lag decides how the entire match will be played.
One Game, One Match: Once a game format (8, 9, or 10-ball) is picked at the start, that is the format for the full match.
Winner Breaks: This format follows the "Winner Breaks" rule. If you win the game, you break in the next one.
The Power of the Lag: The winner of the opening lag chooses:
Pick the Game: You choose the format for the match, but you must rack for your opponent.
Take the Break: You get the opening break, but your opponent chooses the game format.
Rackless Match Strategy: To hunt that bonus point, you must win the lag and choose to break instead of picking the game. From there, you have to win every rack to keep the break!.
4. PRO-STYLE STANDARDS
Rack Your Own: In both Pro formats, you are responsible for your own tight rack every time.
The 3-Foul Rule: If enabled, three consecutive fouls is a loss of rack. Just remember: your opponent must warn you when you're on your 2nd foul!.
WHY STEP UP TO ELITE PLAY?
These formats are for the shooter who wants to play the game the way the pros do. No early flukes, no easy outs—just skill and strategy.
