Today we’re remembering someone very special to our ABC family, Deborah “Debbie” McKenzie.

Debbie was more than a former manager, she was a friend. Whether it was her team, our guests, or her friends, she led with kindness, warmth, and a smile that could light up a room. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome and valued, and that’s something that sticks with you.

Outside of the brewery, Debbie’s passion for golf was incredible. From competing at the highest levels to coaching and mentoring young players, she truly loved the game and sharing it with others. That same passion and heart showed up in everything she did.

Our thoughts are with her husband Robert, her family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed and always remembered.

In lieu of flowers, Debbie’s family has asked that donations be made to support something she loved:

New Venue - same event!

We absolutely feel for our friends who work at HMAC, and hope they can get some support from the city, and find a solution. For now, we are glad we can help some local promoters get their events into a room and still be able to provide fun, affordable events for the folks in this area.

First announcement is we are working with to start hosting EMO NIGHT at The Abbey Bar on March 20th!

The world’s best Emo Night is moving to The Abbey Bar in Harrisburg on March 20.

VENUE CHANGE: We’ll not be rocking at THE HISTORIC ABBEY BAR!

On Friday, March 20, we’re bringing EMO NIGHT back to The Abbey Bar in Harrisburg, PA for a night built on loud feelings, bad decisions, and the songs that still hit way too hard.

This night is for:
🖤 the ones who still know every word
🖤 the ones who “don’t even listen to emo anymore” (liars)
🖤 the ones who come for nostalgia and stay for the scream-singing
🖤 the ones who need to feel something again

If these songs ever got you through a breakup, a bad year, or a version of yourself you don’t recognize anymore… this night is for you.

We’re talking wall-to-wall emo anthems. The songs you blasted in your car. The ones you cried to. The ones you still scream like it’s 2006 and everything is falling apart in the best way.

Yes! Wizard Fest is still happening tonight! Grab your wands and join us before the snow comes tomorrow. 🪄

✨ One last party before the snowstorm of the decade! ❄️✨
Wizardfest is happening TONIGHT at 7pm.

We know many folks are keeping a close eye on the weather, and we want to be transparent. Based on the current forecast, snow is not expected to begin until around 3am, and Wizardfest will wrap up by 11pm, giving all witches and wizards ample time to travel home safely.

Your safety is always our top priority. We’re closely monitoring the storm, and if anything changes, we’ll communicate updates and make adjustments as needed.

Doors open at 7pm, with plenty of magical activities planned throughout the night. Come celebrate responsibly and enjoy one enchanted evening before the snow rolls in. ✨🧙‍♂️🧙‍♀️

Our team has been busy decking the halls—literally! From hanging ornaments to climbing ladders, our staff went all out to transform the restaurant into a full-on festive wonderland.

We strung up over a mile of lights (yes, a mile!), added sparkle to every corner, and created a vibe that gives total tinsel bar energy. ✨🍻
