Coeur du Vin

Coeur du Vin A small vineyard operated by Scott Magoon in Eastern Oklahoma County, along the north Canadian River. Red Bordeaux varieties include Cabernet Sauvignon.

Coeur du Vin currently has six different varieties of wine grapes growing in the vineyard. Italian reds are Barbera and is known to maintain high acid content in warm climates and Sangiovese the principle grape in the famous Chianti. Cynthiana/Norton rounds out the reds. I hope to increase the plantings of this grape in 2022 as well as some of the other varieties.

Since I started using these gopher traps. I've eliminated 23 of these destructive little critters. Simple to use. I've not seen new mounds on the property in weeks. I scout for new hills daily. I should have done this years ago.

Trying to install an irrigation system without a well. 8 sprinkler heads operating from a 300 gal water tank and a pool pump. Successful first test.
