Chip-O-Lympics – TONIGHT! Thursday June 11 – Beginng at 6:30 PM.
A Fundraising Evening benefiting the renovation and operation of the Memory Chips Museum in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. Opportunities for participants to win prizes donated by local businesses.
Events
Guess The Flavor
A blindfolded taste test in which the competitors must guess the flavor of the chip. Winner is chosen through elimination rounds.
Chip put
Like the shot put, participants select their chip and compete to see who can throw or fling it the greatest distance without the chip breaking.
Chip toss and catch
A pairs event in which partners take turns tossing a chip into an empty bag held by their partner. Tossing distance increases with each turn.
Chip Beauty pageant
A completely biased, ridiculous judging of a potato chip’s beauty. ENTER YOUR MOST GORGEOUS CHIP INTO THE PAGEANT BY BRINGING YOUR OWN. Judges are looking for physical, as well as inner beauty.

The Chip-O-Lympics are intended as an entertaining way to raise money for the construction of the World’s First Potato Chip Bag Museum—right here in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in all contests, and prizes are donations from businesses who support our cause. The only thing you need to take seriously is our gratitude for your participation in the project.
