☀️ Heat Advisory for Saturday's Festival ☀️
We're looking forward to seeing everyone at the 2nd Annual "That Guy in the Hat" Music Festival this Saturday! Current forecasts are calling for temperatures around 106°F, so we want everyone to come prepared to stay cool and enjoy the day.
To help everyone stay comfortable, we'll have free drinking water, limited community shade, and a few misting areas to help beat the heat.
We encourage everyone to:
💧 Drink water throughout the day.
🧴 Wear sunscreen.
🧢 Wear a hat and lightweight clothing.
⛺ If you have one, consider bringing your own shade canopy or umbrella, as community shade will be limited.
❤️ Take breaks in the shade and check in on children, older family members, and anyone who may be more sensitive to the heat.
If you begin feeling dizzy, nauseated, or overheated, please move to a shaded area, cool down, and let one of our volunteers know if you need assistance.
We're doing everything we can to make this a safe and enjoyable day, and we appreciate everyone helping us look out for one another.
