The Highland class of 1977 will host a reunion on Saturday, June 25th at Griffin Park. If you are a friend of the ‘77ers, come out about 1:00 pm and eat some ribs with all the fixins and visit with us!
We will also be celebrating the life of Virgil Griffin, so if you knew him or were friends of the family come see us and tell a Virgil story
Hopefully, some of the class members will make it out to Griffin Park Grill on Friday night to socialize. It is a karaoke night with Colton at the controls and he is already combing through the hits of 1977 for your entertainment. Have a great weekend Class of 1977!

Welcome, Home!
Seaman 2nd Class, Brady O. Prewitt, Born April 8th, 1921 in Martin Creek, Arkansas to parents William Abner Prewitt and Stella Reavis, will be returning home to Hardy, Arkansas May 13th, 2022. Brady was Killed in Action on December 7th, 1941, during the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, where he was stationed upon the battleship, BB-37 USS Oklahoma. Brady was among the missing in action listed after the attack and was able to be identified through DNA testing in August of 2019, giving him the chance to return home for burial in his family's cemetery.

Brady is preceded in death by his parents. and his brother Paul Prewitt of Rockingham county, North Carolina.

A visitation will be May 18, 2022 at 11:00am until 12:00pm at the A.L. Hutson Gym in Highland. Funeral service will be 12:00 noon in the A.L. Hutson Gym with Brother Jackie Picket officiating.

Arrangements under the direction of Wortham Funeral Home and Cremation of Highland, AR.
