Hey folks! It's been a couple years since I've logged into this account. I'm just here to share this little bit o' fantastic news with you (if this page even still shows up in anyone's feed).

Houghton heroes recently tossed us all a collection of all their previously released tracks, mixed and mastered by our very own, beloved, Matt Langlais.

I can't begin to describe the impact this band had on me during my time in Houghton. When I saw them play their final show in March 2015, it was such a euphoric curtain closing, and I felt such a void in my heart. I just kept asking myself "Well now what?" I actually cried, a lot.

Long story short, if it weren't for , we never would have even attempted to start playing host for all the bands and artists who played at our house between 2015 and 2018.

The one thing I'm always proud of is just the sheer amount of people who met each other for the first time at IHOT and happened to form all of my favorite bands during those years. You can thank for that. I do all the time.

All proceeds are going to the bail out project and other similar social service organizations.

Hey all, a few days ago we were made aware that a good friend/attendee of one of our shows was made incredibly uncomfortable and felt unsafe with what was going on around them because of the actions of other attendees. It's unfortunate that things like this "just happen" and that's the end of it so we at Toast want to make a point to keep things like this from "just happening" and going unchecked. It's important to keep in mind the thoughts and feelings of everyone around you. We want EVERYONE to be able to come to our shows and enjoy themselves with respect to those around them. If you are attending a show and witness or are victim to any sort of physical/verbal harassment please let a member of the house know and we will be more then willing to address your issue of concern. Our little music scene up here should stress inclusion. That means engaging in inclusive/nonthreatening behaviors from both us at Toast and our attendees. Thanks for reading. And please keep this in mind at future shows.

There's one golden rule: respect the neighbors. This includes not entering their homes. If we can't collectively uphold this it'll spell the death of toast haus.
