American Legion Riders Post 200 - Hampstead, Maryland

American Legion Riders Post 200 - Hampstead, Maryland Hampstead, Post 200, American Legion Riders consists of Veterans, and friends & family riding and raising funds for Veteran's causes.

The American Legion Riders are a diverse group of motorcycle enthusiasts, sharing common goals. All are members of The American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, and Sons of The American Legion, and are united by patriotism and their desire to serve their country. They answer the call to ride in service to America’s Military, her Veterans, and for the children and youth of our country. The activi

ties of The Legion Riders are limited only by the imagination of the members of the local Rider’s organizations. Many chapters have independently raised thousands of dollars for local children’s hospitals, schools, veterans’ homes, severely wounded servicemen and women, and American Legion scholarship programs. Since 2006, Riders have united nationally for The American Legion Legacy Run to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars each year for The American Legion Legacy Scholarship Fund, established for the children of those who have given their lives on active duty defending our freedoms around the world.

Riders, forwarded from post 223. Anyone wanting to ride down as a group, contact our Director, Jimmy Maddrey.

Fellow Legion Riders and Friends,
Our annual Frosty Balls Ride we normally do on New Years Day looks like it's going to be a wash out with the predicted weather forecast.
Saturday is forecasted to be a beautiful day. I will not be available Saturday due to a prior commitment I can't reschedule. Our Director Mike Jankowski has volunteered to lead a lunch ride this Saturday January 2nd. Since Pennsylvania is shut down for inside dining, he will be leading to Mountain Gate Restaurant in Thurmont which is open and has indoor seating.
Meet at Royal Farms at Rt 26 and 32 at 1015hrs with KSU at 1030hrs.
Remember your masks and hand sanitizer.
Wishing everyone a Happy New Year!
