***SPECIAL MESSAGE from our owner***
“Ciao friends!
It is with a heavy heart that I need to tell you we are closing Ciao Vino. It’s been a very long decision making process, so it hasn’t been an easy road. We have debated back and forth for months. It comes down to what is referred to as work-life balance.
I am missing out on a full life. I miss out on moments I love normally being at for my children, which in my world takes top priority. Also, quite frankly, I am exhausted. Beyond explanation! Whew!! I wear multiple hats and am not at the point where I can transfer any of those responsibilities. My health has taken a nosedive because of this. It’s time to make some serious changes.
I can’t express how much I have genuinely loved seeing my beautiful space come to life. It is absolutely gorgeous in every way. Each artistic touch, the colors, handcrafted wood pieces, custom cabinetry & bar (which my nephew helped create!). It is so very special to me to just look around at all of it and know I did it! I see similarities between my space and spaces that had professionals design them, and I am so proud of that!
I also have loved hearing the laughter, live music, seeing sweet exchanges between couples, and joy that fills the space regularly…I will forever think of all of my Ciao Vino memories so fondly.
We’d absolutely love nothing more than for you to stop in one last time to support our staff and say goodbye! Please visit us this weekend or next to use any gift cards as well! (We haven’t sold any in a while, but I want to make sure everybody uses them up before we close.)
✨Our last day open to the public will be Saturday 12/13.✨
We are open Friday & Saturday this weekend & next weekend.
Last but not least, it’s THANK YOU time:
First and foremost, Thank You to my amazing husband and children, who have been through everything (good & awful!) with me from start to finish over the past two years. I am truly blessed with the best and know it. You guys are my heart.
Thank You to my parents ~ the most supportive, loving parents. Poppy helped keep it running behind the scenes, while Nana kept it beautifully decorated throughout the seasons. They always lend an ear to my constant worries, and they have kept me held together for over 40 years, which is no easy feat! God bless them!
Thank You to all who have supported us! Especially our family, friends and those customers who became friends throughout this journey! I will certainly miss seeing you, but I hope to see you throughout the city, now that I will have some free time to actually go OUT and enjoy it.
Finally, Thank You to my staff. Every single one of you who have kept us running so smoothly since day one. I consistently receive messages about my awesome staff. I have had help from so many family members as well in this area. I love and appreciate everything you did to help me, and truly appreciate you hanging in there until the end.
I know this is long, so if you’re still reading, I apologize! There is so much to say when you walk away from a dream that actually came to fruition. I sometimes feel like I am giving up. But, the reality of it is that when I finally made this decision (after many, many tears and sleepless nights), I actually felt better. A weight lifted. That’s how I know this is the right path for me. I’m stubborn and an extremely hard worker, so it took some time for me to accept this was best. I’ve been killing my poor body though…I can’t ignore that anymore.
I wish you all a very blessed holiday season.✨
Stay safe. Stay healthy. Take time to STOP and enjoy your surroundings.
Life is hard. Sometimes more so than other times. But, you can overcome anything you put your mind to. Your heart may break a little but that doesn’t mean you can’t GO ON. It means you adapt and push through and repair it.
‘Nothing can bring you peace but yourself’ (Ralph Waldo Emerson, Self-Reliance)
Something may change in the future, but…may God bless you with a beautiful, grateful life, and…Ciao for now my friends!”
With much love,
Jana
