I want to personally address the recent situation involving a former employee.

We normally would never discuss personnel matters publicly, and frankly, we would prefer not to now. However, when statements are made publicly that question our character, our business, and the way we treat people, we believe we have the right to briefly set the record straight.

During our temporary closure, we made the decision to restructure and restaff our business. Not every former employee was asked to return. Those decisions were made by ownership based on what we believed was best for the future of Calhoun’s Thirsty Farmer.

We stand behind those decisions.

At the same time, we recognize that going back and forth on social media isn’t productive. We’ve said what we needed to say, and we will not be discussing private employment matters or engaging in further public arguments about them.

Our focus now is exactly where it should be: Calhoun’s Thirsty Farmer and our upcoming GRAND REOPENING!

We are incredibly excited about what we’ve been working on during this time away, and we can’t wait to open our doors again, welcome everyone back, and start this next chapter.

To our customers, friends, employees, and everyone who has continued to support us — thank you. We truly appreciate it.

Nothing like a disgruntled former employee who didn’t get re-hired after we had live interviewed last night

First he asks / begs to be taken back. Then — when he isn’t — he tries to trash the business. (why would he beg to come back if the bosses treated him so like s**t 🤔)

This IS exactly why he was NOT rehired.

🍻 WHO’S READY FOR US TO BE OPEN?! 🍻

We’re finishing up the last few pieces and getting everything ready to go! We’ll be announcing our official opening date very soon, so stay tuned! 👀

With that being said, Mark and Amanda will be at Calhoun’s Thirsty Farmer tomorrow afternoon/evening hosting open interviews! We’re looking for a few more awesome people to complete our crew for:
🍳 Cooks
👩‍🍳 Cook Helpers
🍹 Bartenders

We’re almost there and just need to fill a few more spots! If you’re interested in joining our team, please message the Thirsty Farmer page and let us know you’d like to stop by tomorrow. We’ll coordinate times so we can plan accordingly.

Okay we are anxious for our re-grand opening befor the upcoming season.
We still are looking for one more cook, a kitchen helper, and 2 bartenders that can also help,out! If you work somewhere else and just are looking for supplemental income ,we welcome part timers too!
We are looking for a great fall season serving you all, with a new menu and some awesome specials.
Pay is based on experience! Come join our Farmer family!
