Next Tuesday June 16 is a themed trivia night all about outdoor recreation: 🎣FISHING! 🚣RAFTING! 🛩AVIATION! 🚵BIKING! 🐎HORSEBACK RIDING!

You know you like those activities...and trivia is free...and you can win prizes...so it's a can't-miss event!

Throughout trivia night, the Grade to Gate Foundation will share info about the amazing 65-foot mural being painted at Around The Horn to honor America’s 250th birthday. They'll introduce you to the mural artists and the local businesses sponsoring the mural.

In addition, the Grade to Gate Foundation is offering a Char Siu BBQ chicken dinner (with rice and side salad) as part of a fundraiser. Each meal is $25. Fundraising proceeds will go to the Grade to Gate Foundation, Groveland's own 501(c)3 dedicated to enhancing and sustaining the beauty of the Highway 120 corridor. Warm temps were short lived and now second winter is upon us, so it's a good time to enjoy a dark beer. We hope you’ll accept our quest to try a pour of The Bridge of Death, our 6% ABV coconut porter that is fresh from the tank. Brewed with an absurd amount of coconut and roasted malts, expect robust flavors of dark chocolate Almond Joy and cold brew coffee. Drink wisely, or prepare to be cast into the gorge of eternal flavor!

When you're a brewery kid, your drink of choice is Yosemite Springs sparkling hop water! Bubbly, effervescent, hints of pineapple from the hop terpenes, 0% alcohol--not boozy, just bougie! Grab your tot (or yourself!) a 16 oz can to enjoy on site or to go.

If you're in town for the long weekend, stop by and say hi! Around The Horn is open and serving beer from 11 am to 9 pm today through Monday. Food from Gateway At The Brewery is available from 12 pm to 8 pm today through Monday.

This bright, easygoing American wheat was built for afternoons on the water. At 5% ABV, it pours crisp with a soft bready backbone and just the right amount of citrusy zing.

A creative afternoon. A meaningful cause. A fun way to give back! 💞Rockin for ROOFBB💞 takes place on Saturday May 30 from 12 pm to 2 pm in The Corral beer garden at Around the Horn Brewing Company.

For $20, you'll get:
-Rocks and all art supplies
-Instruction from a local artist

"Those beer boards are so cool, who makes them?!" If you've ever asked that while perusing our tap list, then pay attention to this Thirsty Miner Spotlight!

Meet Val Shehan, the local artist and Thirsty Miner Mug Club member who is the steady hand behind all of the beautifully hand-drawn beer boards lining our wall. Val moved to Groveland in 2023 and quickly became known around town for the painted rocks she lovingly shares with the world. At some point along the way we realized her talent could extend beyond rocks, and she became Around The Horn's official beer board artist.

Whenever a new beer is released, Val gets to work translating the label design onto a blackboard with markers and paintbrushes. We love seeing how she brings the artwork to life with color and texture. Thank you for all your hard work, Val!

When she's not busy painting, you might catch Val walking her doggos Sierra and Winnie or slinging fish at the Sierra Flying Fish storefront. If you see her at the brewery, let her know what your favorite beer board is!

Back in 2021 we teamed up with Humble Sea Brewing Co. to merge our hazy recipes into a pillowy dream of a collab: Highway to Chill. Things have been a bit crazy lately and we needed some more chill in our life, so we decided to brew it again!

Highway to Chill is a 7.5% ABV double dry hopped hazy IPA with Mosaic Cryo, Riwaka, and Citra. Creamy waves of peach, mango, and citrus with a bright, zesty lift will have you well on your way to relaxation, whether you're in the mountains after climbing through Highway 120 or at the sea after winding along Highway 17.

Thank you to our friends at Humble Sea Brewing Co. for collaborating with us once again on this beer, and more importantly, for being such helpful resources along our brewing road these past six years!
