After more than 28 years, our hearts are full as we share the news that we have sold or beloved lakefront restaurant. Emerald Point Restaurant has been a part of our lives for nearly three decades- a second home where our stories intertwined with yours. It is not possible to count the memories made here. We have laughed here, cried here, celebrated here and grown here. It has been our privilege and pleasure watching generations of families do the same.
To our extraordinary staff- our extended family- words will never be enough. You poured your passion, your energy and your spirit into every shift, every meal, every guest. Over the years we have watched so many of you grow up within these walls, starting as young teens and blossoming into confident adults with bright futures and incredible careers. It has been an honor to witness this transformation. Emerald simply would not have been what it is without you. We are forever grateful for the unwavering dedication and love you have showed EP.
To our community: thank you for trusting us with your milestones- birthdays, anniversaries, dates, last goodbyes and family traditions. You welcomed us into your lives, and we will never forget the feeling of seeing familiar faces walk through our doors year after year. Your loyalty and kindness shaped not only our business, but also our hearts.
New Year's Eve will be our last day. We hope you can stop in over the next few weeks and celebrate with us. We kindly ask anyone that has a gift card to use it by the end of the year.
As emotional as this goodbye is, we also feel hope and excitement as we welcome the new owners. We believe that they will nurture what has been built here- honoring its history while bringing their own new dreams to the lake. The owners will be closing to do some renovations and we look forward to their opening.
Thank you for the unforgettable years- for every smile, every conversation and every moment you allowed us to be part of your lives. We will carry these memories with us always.
With love and gratitude,
Erin and Frank Lotito
