It all started on this fertile, flat delta land. From these fields and the hands that nurtured them, emerged the style of music known as the blues. History tells us that these Delta blues have influenced almost every genre of music that exists today. Set in the heart of the Delta with this mystical body of water as its backdrop, we welcome you to the Mighty Mississippi Music Festival --- a 2-day multi-genre concert celebrating the fields, the farmers, the legends, and all the music they inspired. The Mighty Mississippi Music Festival is a project of Down River Entertainment, LLC founded by Delta natives, Steve Azar and Jason Fratesi, and is proud to be a new musical destination of the “Bridging the Blues” project.
